My Baby Beast is currently at 10,000 puffs on the same X4 coil I installed when I got it. It may sau that is handles higher wattage but I got up to 30 Watts and that is where I have stayed.

I see people saying this and it blows my mind. I had the x4 and it blew in little over 24hrs. I was vaping at 50 watts.
And I see no reason to run it higher than 30 Watts. You are firing at 60% higher wattage so what do you think is going to happen to the coil?
Wow, I thought I was the only one, my big baby beast tank (got with the smok v8 kit) all coils I have tried from M2 to T6 including Q2 have all lasted no more than 2 to 3 days vaping on 1 to 1.5 tanks a day. I am totally ...... and blowing money on coils.
I am moving over to the tarot nano with the veco tank where I researched the ceramic coils have a great life span. Even heard from others on this forum.
I will keep my smok v8 stick in reserve. On youtube for the smok v8 stick, others are reporting the coils burn out ultra quick even designed with the battery that goes with this kit.

Vaping at 30watts is not enough power for me. I find myself pulling to hard and it's not satisfying, and I don't get great flavor. Also do you read the best wattage pref written right on the coil? I am vaping right in the best wattage rang.
I bought a box of coils before the Baby Beast even arrived and have not even touched the box yet. Although I don't use it all day the puff counter doesn't lie.
What MOD are you using it on as I tried going higher and it started to taste funny. I am running my Baby Beast on an Alien 220.
It's not just you, it's def me and a lot of other people. I really can't believe when people tell me that their coils last 3 weeks to a month. I think they might be witch doctors or some kind of wizard or working some kind of socery.
I also have the Air Flow all the way open and it is basically an unrestricted draw in my opinion.

My air flow is 100% open all the time. Are you sure your not some kind of coil warlock?

You know I thought I was nutz before I starting hearing from others, kinda makes me feel better as I am not a total newb when it comes to vaping. Nor a pro by any means either.
I was so excited to get the v8 stick and then 3 days later when the first coil crapped out at about 1 tank a day I knew I was in trouble.
Veco with ceramic coils here I come!!!
Everything that I have heard about ceramic coils is that the flavor is horrible. I'm a flavor junkie so that's why I haven't tried. Hope you have some luck. Let me know
What I heard about Ceramic coils was scary to be honest and I am still waiting for some more info or research on them before I use the Coil Art Ceramics I have for my Atlantic Tank.
I've had 2 baby beasts in my rotation for about 6 weeks now and I'm on my 3rd coil in each of them and a couple of the changes were on;y because I've changed juices. Some of you must be using very high wattages and very sweet juice to burn the coils out so fast.
Just my 3 cents here. I had been using my freemax starr pure as my daily driver: one coil since 11/09/16. That's correct almost 4 months on one coil. And still going strong.
However.
Enter the BBB. The smoothness of the vaping experience is a new plateau. I find it challenging to pick up the starr.
I really feel as though the key to good coil life is based on the following factors: e liquid; not only flavor but viscosity, volume of ml per day, break in/priming rituals and lastly wattage.
I suppose I'm lucky because the way I like to vape lends to long coil life.

@RayRay69 My BB coils last me exactly two weeks, I used the t8 .15ohm coils at 62.5 watts but now that I am in need of more coils I'm going to try the t6. I generally vape anywhere from 9-18mls a day depending on my stress levels, lately its been the 18mls though.
