Tauren Solo

Think I just found my new favorite single coil rda in the Tauren Solo. I’ve had it over a two months but was unable to build it. Got to it last night and wow!!!

1st off the machining is rock solid. The deck is easy to build on and I love the angle of the air vents hitting the coil and the mid airflow can be wide open or closed down to a more restrictive DL. I think the favor is best 1/2 way closed for me.

I may have bought a 2nd in the holidays spree but if not I will be. I did but the Tauren Thunder Creations rta which is also excellent.

This is worth the full price but if you can find one on sale get it!!

Here it is on a black Ephro Cold Steel 100 using a spaced fused Clapton 3.5 id at .5 ohms and 31 watts.

Seriously go for it!! I’m overwhelmed by the flavor!!!

I quite liked the vape of the Solo when I cut down the airflow in half, but the branding on all of THC's products is absolutely disgusting.
The Reload S performs a lot better imo. Smoother airflow, better flavor.
Unless you need humongous airflow of course, because that of the Tauren Solo is just insane.

It isn't too shabby when used with a Squonk mod as well, as you can see the liquid level through the airflow. Which is useful.

But it does definitely have some well executed design concepts, like the fact that the build deck reduces airspace.

I haven’t used anything but the SOLO rda and it’s perfect for me.

the solo rta I’d my favorite. The best or original Tauren rta is very good but the Solo RTA is tops for me. I’ve bought 5 or 6. I normally use the froste plastic bubble tank. It’s a perfect bottom airflow for me. Wide open af but can be brought to a more restricted one if wanted. There also sma RDTS buy I haven’t tried it out yet was thinking om using it. Thinking oh using it on dual Topside.

The only bad thing about the Tauren SOLO RDA is that they went with a slot and not a hex or allen head for the 510 screw.

Mine are a bit chewed up now from disassembling and reassembling.

But it's a great RDA for ease of use though.

But when it comes to RTA's @Fidola13, I have to recommend the Tripod. It's probably has more restricted airflow than you prefer, but it does give absolutely amazing flavour and Ulton do a very good clone of it.

But I've also received some Ulton clones of Taifun GT4 or GT IV RTA's in recent vapemail, only just finished cleaning one for use and have yet to attempt the daunting prospect of trying to build and wick it. It's another slightly restricted option that folks rave about for flavour, well we'll see soon enough. But it does look kind of awesome on an SL class and has a plastic tank instead of glass that is sleeved, so it's pretty dammed rugged.

Both of them are more airy than the Digiflavor Pharoah Mini, which is a blast from the past now.
