Look into the Pyrex ARO V2 Bottom Coil tank. It's a pyrex tank so it won't crack with certain liquids and is about 5.99 on madvapes.com.
I haven't used it, but I heard it works well.

-Rachel

Thanks to this question (and my suggestion!) I went ahead and purchased the Pyrex Aro V2 from Madvapes. It should be sitting at my door waiting for me when I get home today! I passed on the information after hearing great things about it and then became curious about it enough to buy 2 of them. The capacity is the same as my 2 nautilus mini tanks so the size isnt an issue for me. I will update you guys on what I think of it! For 5.99 each its worth a shot!

I tried it last night, but used a new flavor instead of one that Im familiar with.
I'm using it on the istick 20 and it gave me a battery/metalic taste highter than 5.3w. (the lowest it would go was 4.8 so I'm basically vaping on one of the lowest settings.)
I'm going to have have to re-test the v2 with a flavor I'm familiar with to see if I like it.

I'm using the coils that came with it. I believe its a bottom coil - 1.8 ohm.
I was looking for the BVC but couldnt find it on madvapes. Where can I get it?

whoa ! - I got confused somehow, somewhere and made a mistake…
don’t know if I crossed up with another thread or what, but moving on…

the very cool ARO by SMOK is a bcc (bottom single coil) tank (not aspire bdc/bvc)
I LOVE THE SMOK bcc series tanks –
- http://i00.i.aliimg.com/img/pb/243/261/951/951261243_535.jpg
I use them like crazy and swap both Smok and Kanger coils (both fit for me)
I get great performance from the single coil, they are cheap and
very simple to maintain…

a toss up for my favorite tank is between the tuff, cheap, simple SMOK / RBC & NBC
- RBC Clearomizers
- 3.5mL NBC Tanks

- Smoktech Frosted RBC (10% Off) - Smoktech Clearomizers - Smoktech - Clearomizers Tanks

- Kanger T3S & MT3S Single Coils - Kanger Coils - Kangertech - Clearomizers Tanks
- Kanger T3s/MT3s Coil Replacement ** 5 Pack - 1.8 ohms

sorry and hope I didn’t confuse you (and others) with my blunder

What are the pros and cons between the 2 tanks you mentioned? The RBC & NBC? I'm always looking for cheap tanks to swap between my nautilus mini.

Is there a difference between the coils that come with the v2 and the kanger?

the SMOK RBC tank is just like the tried and true popular Kanger EVOD tank
1 piece poly plastic, 1.6ml, bcc...

the NBC tank is a bcc version of the old popular Vivi Nova (top coil)
I really like it BECAUSE it can be fully dis-assembled (clean&dry)
drip tip, capacity, and it vapes like a train for me...

I use my Kanger bcc coils (bottom single coil) in all my devices
which includes the SMOK series bcc tanks...

so for me
the SMOK bcc coils, and
the Kanger bcc coils
interchange nicely and make for a very efficient vaping experience...

I DON'T DO "tank cracker" juices, so poly tanks are of no concern to me
(where the ARO pyrex tank would fit if needed)

out of stupid curiosity I have a bunch of clearomizer tanks around me,
but still like my SMOK bcc and wish I had all that money back for other things vaping

:)

Update on the pyrex aro v2- I tried the "I'm on a roll" juice from wild vape on my nautilusmini and the v2 tank. It's soft cinnamon with accents of caramel flavored juice (not a sweet vape flavor). I think i prefer the nautilus. I cant use the v2 on higher than 5.2 watts. Anything higher tastes burnt. The cinnamon is a bit stronger but not really in a good way since there is a slight taste on the v2 that reminds me of the smell of a wax candle when you blow out the flame. It's hard to explain the exact "off" flavor. The caramels don't come through at all. The vapor is great!

The nautilus mini gives me the best flavor at 9.0 watts and is a bit smoother and more natural tasting. The caramel flavor comes through on the exhale. It's hard to compare since both tanks are really in 2 different classes.

For a cheap tank, the v2 isn't too bad and has good vapor. I just wish I can get rid of the melted plastic/extinguished wax candle flavor. I also dont like thst i can only vape it at almost the lowest wattage considering the 1.8 coils goes is 4.8, while I can only vape it at around 5.2 or get a burnt taste.

did you WASH that tank really good BEFORE use ???

5.2 watts is a VERY unusually LOW power
and then to claim burnt there, is very peculiar

yes TWO different tanks

Nautilus is ceramic fiber vertical coil (with air flow)

and ARO is a horizontal single silica coil

I would wash out ARO tank, then also a 10 min soak in PGA
or a cheap vodka to clear it of any foul residue... (packing oils)

:)

If you're still looking for a budget tank, the GS Air from evape.us. I bought it as a cheaper alternative to my Nautilus' and I am loving it so far. I think it compares well to the Nauts, uses all cotton in the coils, handles higher VG, great flavor/vapor, made for the 20w IStick and it's only $9.00 :2c:
I have gone through about 6 or 7 tanks of C & C reserve at 11watts on my IStick 20w and the stock coil is still going strong.

What you can do is get verified and check out the classfies! I have picked up a bunch of Protank 2 and Davides and Mini Protanks averaging about 5 bucks apiece. Sure they need a good cleaning when you get them but its a good deal.

I like to use all of them on the 30 watt Istick I have. They are just a lot lighter then my Kayfuns.

I've tried the aspire ones..not a fan, passed them on to my daughter.

what I use with my istick are the V2s (the new aerotanks) with a 1.0 or 1.5 (they do better with the latter they don't sub ohm and sometimes it'll get "confused" with the 1.0s)

I'd like to say "none" from your list, the two worst tanks I've ever had were the Vivi Nova-low vapor and you've got to suck a golf ball through a garden hose to get that. And the dreaded "mop head" iClears *lol*

I've not tried the eleaf ones..

you can pick up an aerotank for $20 or less on ebay used.
