Looks like you've answered that one gsmit1!
I don't wanna keep seeming like the contrarian lately, but I didn't really have any problem getting a 3mm twisted 28 in there. I wouldn't go bigger, but a 3mm fit fine. Like B.M. said, complex coils might get snug, but who puts a quad core framed staple fused clapton in a BB anyway?

The coil I first attempted was a 5 wrap 3mm fused clapton. Ni80 2-28/36 2.6 Ohms/ft. Probably what people would call an MTL or "micro" clapton these days. The same coil I've been running in Vapeshells and Insiders successfully for a long time. It would have fit but as I said in my OP it looked too tight. Too close to the posts for my liking. I'm much happier with the same wire but with a 2.5mm ID.

Have you tried various USB cables? There are a lot out there without the data lines connected that are only used for charging.

I tried a few, one was the my google chrome cast cable. Others were who know what. I'll try to get something known to do data.

On the stock coils,a few i have found to be really good are the Kanger SSOCC heads and some Atlantis style clapton heads on Fasttech.I actually like the Atlantis heads a little better,so i've been throwing a coulple packs in with each order from them.

Thanks for that, I'm going to order the A tank soon with some other bits and bobs

2.5 works too :)

I did fly thru this thread but didnt get is there any diference sxk and ytfk? Sxk landed today but on 2 holes pin and middle chimney there is some spitback with 2mm coil 1.4ohm 12W ( I did narrow feeding screw to minimize juice to coil). The smallest chimney instant condesation and juice under drip tip and smallest one hole pin same thing. I like the flavor and think I would dial it on more setups tries. Definitly driling the smallest af pin for optimal draw. Would like to have one more but dont know should I go again with sxk or ytfk or i doesnt matter? + regarding sxk I had background flavor latley due to insulators in some newer tanks and insider v2 but with this sxk xeta thats not a problem so maybe a litlle scared ytfk could have this problem with insulator and background plastic flavor (I did srucb these tanks 4/5 times but with no change).

I have the SXK now,and my YFTK version should be here probably tomorrow,so i'll compare the 2 and see if there is any difference.I really don't expect there to be much of a difference if any at all though,so in the case of which to get,i would just go by which one is in stock and can be gotten cheaper.

On another site there's speculation that the SXK and YTFK are made in the same factory, apparently YTFK dont actually manufacture anything, they just rebrand what other companies make...

I found similar, the single hole airflow insert and smallest chimney are just too small, even at high ohm low watts.. I've ended up using the 2 hole insert and medium chimney which is a little loose for my liking.. I'll drill out the smallest airflow insert and install that next time I have it apart... I may drill out the small chimney eventually, I cant see me ever using it at the size it's at..

I have the YFTK and the SXK is on the way :D

$8.37 Replacement Accessory Set for SXK BB 60W Mod Kit - 5ml / POM at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
It's confusing because they don't call it an A-tank on the clones, but this is the one,it comes with the metal adapters for atlantis type coils.
Right and the A-Tank has the bigger bottom hole.

I think there's something to this. The way I've understood it is that the clone companies get the machine shops they're associated with to make what they give them plans for.

Vapers who are interested in how Shenzen works owe it to themselves to watch this video.

Made some progress today, after 2,5mm and 3mm gone back to 2mm coil 6 wraps 1.4ohm, unscrew the juice hole screw more then half and tucked cotton against the screw from inside so the wicking is not to much for 2mm coil, put some folded mesh under 2 holes af pin to match the draw I desire and now playing with hight of the midlle screw in the chimney for the best flavor.

Ok,so got my YFTK Xeta today, and after comparing it with my SXK version,i can say without a doubt there is virtually no difference between them,so anyone debating on which one to get,go with whichever you can get cheaper and faster haha.
The 1 and only difference i noticed,is that on the YFTK,the barrel fits on to the base very smoothly, where my other one grabs just a tiny bit, although this could be due to the SXK being from their 1st batch, and the YFTK is from their 2nd batch.I was just a tiny bit disappointed with this new one though, just for the fact that i got some new clapton wire in the same package,so wanted to try a clapton coil in it,and no matter how hard i tried,it would not hold the legs tight,i assume maybe this wire is just too thick for it,it's 26g wrapped with 30g.I didn't have this wire when i built the SXK,so not sure if it'll have the same problem or not,but being basically identical,i assume i will probably have the same problem on it.Oh well, simple 26g single wire works great in both,so that's what they got haha.

SO....., weird leak occurred with my SXK BB today. Using an Exocet (clone). Also a JMK tip, if that matters. No condensation plus- but a small amount of cotton to close opening at bottom of tank. Build has been in there and being used for quite a few days with no issues: no gurgling, no dry hits or leakage; just minor condensation at the end of the day. Usage was 100% at home so very little, if any, pocketing' of the mod.
I was using in the car, when I got to my destination, I put it in my pocket. About 20 min later I have the tell-tale 'vape stain' on my pants from a leak. The outside of the mod is dry, the cotton at the bottom of the tank opening is dry, when i removed the boro- there were a few droplets of juice (typical condensation)- no signs of leak that would have caused the stain.
Any ideas? (Did juice flow directly out of the drip tip?)

Did you maybe not have the glass closed all the way?

No juice anywhere except your pants? Is that what you're saying?

Glass was closed.
I can only assume it leaked from the chimney. Must have been upside down due to walking, then sitting. (Loose cargo pants- plenty of room to bounce around in pocket). Maybe there should be a warning label on the BB and / or cargo pants..!?!? :?:

Thanks for the feedback.

Mine are both YFTK, I had no problem securing the legs of a Clapton but don't remember if it was dual 26 or triple 28. I never use the included Allen keys, if that makes any difference I don't know.
