I found this:

SXK Bridg'D Style RTA

It has the MTL chimney. But the airflow inserts start from 1.5 and upwards. Are there smaller inserts??

Thanks
No, those are them. I didn't realize 1.5 was the smallest. Seems tighter than that. The Vapesnail is a bit tighter. Don't remember the measurements offhand

The tightest I have is THIS with THESE

I’ve been thinking of getting the SXK clone. Does it do MTL? Like proper MTL I mean. Don’t like the loose MTL.

I use fairly tight MTL with the Xeta, I use the smallest lower airflow insert under the coil, I think it's a 0.8mm single hole, I ran a 1mm drill bit through it by hand to open it up a little, and I use the medium sized chimney insert, I find it great like that... (I vape 1.8ohm 3mm coils at 10.5watts)

Using both the smallest inserts it's way too tight, I couldn't imagine anyone using them together, but the option is there if you want it crazy tight...

Edit: also: with the above setup I get basically no condensation, under and around the boro tank stays pretty much bone dry, there's no need for condensation plugs or such.... I think due to the fairly low airflow with MTL and the even restriction through it with the 2 restrictors, condensation just isn't an issue... (unlike with the Crossbow or Insider V2 I used for MTL previously, they were quite bad)

@b.m. and @Pigs

I bet if you try wicking it a bit tighter, even that little bit of condensation will go away.

However, I'm running mine as tight as it can go so maybe that makes a difference too.

@b.m. was there at that other unmentionable vaping site when I first got mine. The first few hours were iffy, but once I figured it out all has been very well with the Snail. Great RBA.
I'm hearing you @gsmit1 but I really like a bit of pop and crackle in my vape. When it doesn't I never get my kind of satisfying DL vape. I know it's a trade off - and not dry hits v flavour - but I've tried so many variations and I'm happy to pay the price of mopping up a bit of condensation for the pleasure. Looser cotton than yours. And you're right it is a great RBA. Couldn't afford it but I still ordered another clone today.

That's right. I forgot I was running the 2 small hole deck insert in the Xeta. It can get a lot tighter that I have mine set up.

I use a small piece of paper towel folded 3 layers and place it as shown. I'm too lazy to make more so I just squeeze out the wetness into more paper towel. This one is a few months old.

I've been thinking about fashioning some out of a piece of Japanese pad for months, but haven't gotten around to it.

Well, can you compare it to a Haku setup? This may help me understand.

Out of curiosity, why are you running 20S in a Billet Box :)
I consider 45 watts running it hard, I suspect (no proof) that I get the same vape time as a cell rated at higher mAh but lower amp output. Everything I have that takes an 18650 has a 20S in it.

I never bothered trying the Vape Shell because of the size of the chimney, it looks way too big for real MTL, I very much doubt it would suit me...

I've found in the past for my MTL style I need tanks/devices that are fairly restricted all the way through, not just DL style devices with the airflow restricted in the base... We're all different though...

I'm the opposite. Gravitated to the Vapeshell then Xeta then snail because I always wanted a bit more air. I'm happy now.

My Boro plugs arrived last night. I ordered 2 red ones. I got one glossy semi-transparent red, one opaque matt red, and a bonus transparent black one. Kind of nice. I installed one this morning, won't know how well they work for a while.

My Vapesnail is on the way.
