So I recently bought 2 Swivel drip tips. It's just a cheap one made from some sort of plastic/acrylic. I love having it at angle but one problem I am noticing is the swivel ball is wet on the outside (from the steam) and is causing a funky odor. Yeah yeah sure I can wash it but this odor starts within an hour or 2 of use.

My Question is If you have a Swivel drip tip, do you have this problem? If not which tip is it (where can I purchase it) and what type of material is it made out of. I have been wondering if the stainless tips would work better for this but wanted soem opinions before I drop any more cash on one.

Thanks in advance!!

As an owner of 2 metal iClear30's I can confirm there is no smell emanating from the drip tip even after heavy use. Trust me on this because I chain vape 2 times; whenever I talk to my mother over the phone and when I try to re-building things. The condensation you mentioned makes me wonder if what you're smelling could be your eliquid to some degree. Or is it one of those juices that could play nasty on non-glass/stone/metal stuff maybe?

Just a stab in the dark as I have no experience with yours. I'm a metal-head drip tip kinda guy so I lean more towards the ss, polished, and brushed. Which is funny since I'm a using a woody. Well, here's proof both can co-exist happily ever after, on my VVW with a shorty drip tip. I was a 2-3 pad for 20 years so in a way I only had one drip type style for 20 years.

Are you talking about the Knucklehead drip tips? I've had a few of them and never had the issue you are describing.

Yeah baditude they are knucklehead style drip tips.

Thanks for the input Baditude and Redhatpat. I just wanted to make sure that if I bought these from somewhere else different brand or what have you that I would not have the issues I am having now.

Well the condensation is definitely the e-liquid but the smell is just rancid and does not smell like the liquid regularly does. I have 5 different drip tips and these are the only ones that have that smell.

I am guessing that it is just the material that those drip tips are made out of.

I have some liquids coming from HHV soon so I am going to wash these off really good and see if I have that problem with the HHV liquids as well or not.
