So I finally caved in after my screen gave out on my IPV2 and am wondering which of the 3 coils is best for a 50/50 E-juice Blend.

One is a Ni .2 ohm
One is Ti .4
And the one inside the atomizer is 1.0 (no markings on what type of metal)

Also after reading through the manual it says to lock in the resistance to room temperature and my room/house is usually colder than it is outside, should I factor that in and if so how should I do so.

I'm really stoked to get this new device but it feels like I'm playing with alien technology lol.

Would really appreciate some help guys,
Thank you,

Hi and welcome,
The Tron tank shines with the Joyetech CL-R coil head. It is rebuild-able, but you can choose to simply re-wick it when needed or use them and throw them away. They are a very reliable solution.

IMO, The CL heads that come with the kit are disappointing at best, horrible at worst.

I would advise you prime the coil(s) with 3-5 drops of e liquid before reassembling the full tank. Allow to sit for 5 mins or so.
Use the "power" mode for the unmarked 1Ω coil. (kanthal wire)
For the NI/TI coils, you MUST use temperature control mode. (Nickel and Titanium)
Use "TEMP-NI" for the Ni .2Ω coil. Set temp to 420F and adjust watts to 30, increase as desired.
Use "TEMP-TI" for the Ti .4Ω coil. Set temp to 420F and adjust watts to 20, increase as desired.
(To adjust watts in temp mode: three clicks and then select watts with the left/down button; adjust with right/up button)
The "lock" is only needed in Temperature control mode.
Once my coil reads correctly (+/-.05Ω), I will lock the resistance for the location where I will be spending the most time.

HTH

Cheers

Thank you so much =D. Bless the CS guy but he didn't seem to know right from left when it came to anything other than "Power Mode, and stick to that around 3.7v" not terrible advice I guess but this was much more in-depth, you are amazing!

Just got through writing down your input settings for your recommendation of the coils and I'm gonna run out to my local E-Juice store and see if they have the CL-R atomizers.

Coming from an Aspire Celieto the TRON doesn't feel bad at all with the Kanthal coil since the Celieto was supposed to be a one month replacement until I could get something "better" but it was actually really good but I was sent the wrong coils with my last order and it just doesn't work that well and the base it stuck to the IPV2 lol. The coils were the (55w-something right below 100) and I vapes at 44.5w with the 40w-60w .2ohm replaceable coils.

I'm leaving to go get some CL-R heads at the local vape shop before they close. I'm guessing from my preferences that the .5ohm is the best to go with. Also with a 50/50 e-juice blend does the CL-R have an instructional guide about how much to adjust the intake of liquid into the atomizer head or is it kind of a trial and error thing?
