So now I'm thinking, maybe it was just that one plastic screw that was off in size.
I certainly wouldn't want to discourage anyone from using them, and if they worked for Woita, well
than maybe they really do fit.......so I tried another plastic screw that was in the bag, and believe me
I was REALLY CAREFUL ...the 2nd one screwed in just fine. What a relief !!

So please, anyone that's thinking of getting the K4 airflow screw, just be really careful putting
them in, and if they seem too tight, take it out and try another one, because I now really think they
might not all be the same size

So rhody, do you notice a difference with the plastic compared to stock screw?

After all I went thru, yea I should have, but I like a tighter draw but it just kept gurgling
thought the plastic screw would fix that.....live and learn, but atleast its the draw I like now
without the gurgling, so all is well

As Bronze would say thanks for taking one for the team.

Absolutely I like a tighter draw but the gurgling drove me crazy The plastic screw solves the gurgling issue. Now I have the best of both. Tighter draw with no gurgle

Hello people,
I decided that i want to check what is all the hype is about with the kayfuns so i ordered the mini V3 and with a stainless steel 26G and replacing the POM insulator with some mod insulator that i made i got to say, at 210-220C at 45W(max) i get a great vape. (a direct lung inhaler...)
I hope Svoe Mesto will stop using this POM insulators in their products.

That looks great! I'm at 2 turns with 50/50. Tried it with one and didn't get a burnt hit, just was a little "off".

You must have read my mind, I've had serendipity steeping for two weeks, it's going in today!

Been wanting to try net.com but can't get a handle on what they're like. Not looking for the bluegrass burley/devil dog types, want something along the lines of... vita bella, patriot, serendipity, dragons fire, huntsman. Anyone of you guys have any suggestions?
Cool! I actually find that I hardly need steeping with the Dip. :)

Is there really a taste difference because of how many turns open the V3 is? I use 50/50 and I've had the JC open one turn and two turns and I see no difference in taste. I can see for thicker juice more than one turn may be necessary to avoid a dry hit.
This is also my experience. I've noticed literally no differences.

3+ years using kayfuns and I've yet to have an insulator fail. Nevertheless , glad you like the km3. It's a great atomizer.

Someone asked, but darn if I can find it now... Haha.

This is 4 tanks of Founder's reserve (Johnson Creek), and one tank of Serendipity By HHV.

Not perfect... But I personally just refilled.. Haha. Tastes just fine to me still. Despite some gunk on the coil.

Well, i sent an Email to SM and the support told me not to go over 220C/25W so...
i did check the POM insulator and it does seems a bit deformed (tiny tiny amount)
so I'm not sure if it is a good idea to go above the specifications unless of course you change the insulator material.
Any thoughts ?
other than that it is indeed a great vape, smooth smooth smooth :)

I think I prefer this poly tank (that replaces the glass). Haha I caught the wicking (bubble) in action. :)

It maintains the easy fill, and still looks nice. Also - notice that it's flush with the metal pieces too? I don't think there's any extra capacity as a result though - fyi. Just nice and thick poly. Nice strong drop resistant atty!

Victor, how long have you had the mini? And is 25 watts what you have been mainly vaping it at? Just curious because I should have mine tomorrow and my preferred wattage will most likely be 23ish. Just want to know if it's been smooth sailing so far at that power level?

I have it for two weeks and it vapes great @ 23~25W (depends on your build of course). I have tried various builds, including mesh, and they all work great. The interesting part is that I am getting consistently good flavour regardless of the build, i.e. a single coil 28 GA @ 1.2 ohm @ 17 W delivers pretty much the same flavour as mesh or clapton, less clouds of course.
