Hello everyone. I have been building microcoils for my kanger mini protank 3 for a couple months without issue. It has no problems on my istick with the 510 to ego adapter. I did replace the insulator under the isticks center pin with an appropriate sized o ring after my insulator got pinched. I recently picked up a kanger subtank and was using it with the 1.2 ohm coil until I could pick up a sub ohm capable mod. Well, the occ 1.2 coil began leaking, so I decided to build the rba in my subtank. Well, my first build came out at .8 ohm, so I couldn't use it. No biggie, I built a 1.4 ohm coil and stuffed it into the stock 1.2 ohm occ coil head. Used it for a few days with success and then after unscrewing it and reinstalling it on my mod, I noticed it was shorting. So I took it off and retried the rba. This time I used dual coils that shouldve came out around 1.2ohm. No dice, still shorting. So I played with the center pins and I still can't tighten it down and get a solid resistance. It always falls subohm no matter how I build the coils, and I've tried three seperate builds thay all should come out over 1 ohm. I've determined that the subtank 510 connector is so small that the negative siDE is actually sitting on my istick 510 center pin. AnAny suggestions other than buy a new mod with a spring loaded 510? I'm about ready to sell the dang thing, but the flavor is so good on the subtank and vapor production is fairly good.

Did you make sure the part I pointed at is tight? I know someone else had that problem and that is what was wrong. That part was loose.
