It helps if ytou 'reply with quote' (like I did here) so we know who you're talking to, but I think this was aimed at me :)

If any part of the coil touches the inside of the cap when you put it on, electricity will flow from the positive post through the coil and then instead of going to the negative post, it will short through where it touches the cap and go to the 510 connector. It will shorten the coil and thus lower the resistance.

could you explain heat flux and how it could be regulated?
