Does it make sense to wrap a micro coil at .7 ohms or is this just redundant?I have the Trident and just wondering.

I don't see why you cant, I do sub ohm micro's
until I broke my trident lastnight, the best vape I was getting from it was 1.1-1.3ohms

Ive tried a wrap of 28ga at 1.5 ohm and a 1.0 ohm with cotton and not getting good vapour,im using mechs,im thinking micro coils work better box mods with higher amp limits.
I use micros on my mech all day long and it's bliss. Dual 28 kanthal at .9 on my kraken clone and twisted 30 g duals on my igo-w at about .45

Ill have to try a dual coil then with my Poldiac/Kraken,right now im so happy with a SS cable/mesh sleeve,at .7 ohms,im happy with taste and vapour.I do think tho the RDA tanks are good for ''testing'' flavours without ''wasting'' juice.
Yep..........I'm at 15 wraps, 0.6 ohms on a 0.8mm dual nano coils (using small paperclip). My favorite build.
There are a bajillion (approximately) posts on just this. Yes, it works. Yes, it's awesome.
Is it just me,i think i ''feel'' i get ''buzzed'' more with cotton wicks and micro coils.more vapour and taste to boot.
Lots of people have found that they had to cut back on their nic percentage, once they started using micros.

I pretty much exclusively use micro coils on all my builds from a low of 0.3 to a high of 1. 6 ohms. Micro's are just a great way to build regardless of your target ohms.
Funny how this vaping keeps changing into new applications.Cant wait to see the ''new tech'' stuff coming down the road.Ill bet some kind of new battery is next.This is my first try at cotton /micro coils and im am blown out of the water with the taste and the vapour,i think ill get my Kraken going with cotton and micro coil coils.Im vaping FA spearment with the cotton and what a difference from the SS cable,its just beautiful.
I even pulled my Vamo of the rack again.This setup works great.

Yes you can use micros in sub ohm builds. I really don't use other builds anymore.
Pretty much everything I build for my mechanical mod is a 0.7 - 1.0 ohm microcoil. Now, whether that is a simple single or dual microcoil or one of the crazier offshoots of microcoils (twisted wire, dragon, diamond, or whatever else the deranged minds of RiP Trippers and his minions come up with) is an entirely different matter.
I don't go super low with single micros; maybe .9 or .8 ohms, in the Taifun, Squape, or Kayfun. I use dual micros in my drippers.
I'm @ 3gm at night, 18650 & 26650.
Even 6mg on a SLR micro will make me go chinese eye'ed for a second or two.
