Strong mint like Altoid?

How and what should I mix to come up with a strong strong mint like an Altoids. My 35 yr old son who I'm trying to get off analogs says he might give it a whirl if I can come up with a "breath freshening" mint flavor like an Altoid! so help please? Is it a mixture of several kinds of mints plus menthol? I'm floundering here! Help!

They have spearmint and wintergreen, but the classic seems to just have peppermint oil. I'd go with some amount of mints and 3-7% menthol liquid, then a few drops sucralose ("sweetener" at most places) and maybe even a dash of ethyl maltol.

It's not DIY but you may want to get him "Tin Box Mint" from tastyvapor.us and see what happens. It is exactly like vaping an Altoid.

Just keep adding menthol and/or peppermint flavor, which I assume is just peppermint essential oil in most cases. I gave you 3-7% but the little I have used menthol, 5% seems about right to me if not too much. I don't really like strong mint/menthol though. I'd imagine 10% would be plenty.
