Thanks for the input, I haven't seen the doctor because I never liked finding out that there was a problem, I'm stubborn and would rather turn my head the other way.
Well my sense of smell has improved lately as well as taste, but the breathing problems are still occurring but not as bad as before. Now it feels like I need a cigarette kind of anxiety rather than before when it felt like I just wanted an oxygen tank.
I have also noticed sitting up straight helps me breathe better and doing deep breathing exercises sometimes helps too.
I know I don't have the best health, these breathing problems coupled with my cold bluish toes are signs that blood pressure is too low or more likely low hemoglobin/oxygen levels. I'm going to keep my feet warm, even though it is 70 degrees Fahrenheit here my feet feel like they have their own air conditioning system ... Since there are no stroke symptoms, nausea/dizzy/blurry vision/unconsciousness I feel like the problem will go away as I let my lungs clear up and improve oxygen in my blood. The bluish toes occur when I remain standing for a while most likely because of the lowered bp and low oxygen concentration coupled. :(
I'm going to increase my liquid intake to increase osmotic pressure in the venous system thus increasing bp and hopefully increasing oxygen levels reaching my toes :p.

Preliminary research into my cold toes points to Raynaud's Syndrome:

It seems to be harmless at first glance, but will look into it some more. Definitely does not appear to be genetic so most likely Secondary type, might be drug induced lupus erythematosus.

what level of nic do you use?

i read in severl posts the nicotine paralized cyilla etc etc
since analogs done have as much nicotine per drag as say a 24 or 36mg juice, maybe paralizing too many cylia at once?

just a thought, not a doctor, but who knows

find tropical bob he has been vaping forever and is most likely familiar with this (and has always been very helpful, thanks bob)

I experienced the shortness of breath issue shortly after I began vaping. However, I attributed it to mild anxiety/panic attacks (which I've always been prone to having in any case) as a side-effect of getting off the analogs. It was like my lungs simply couldn't process the air I was taking in, even if I took a deep breath. But my breathing improved after a week or so. Also, I researched eugenol and I only saw it referred to as an additive to clove cigarettes for flavoring purposes, not to easy throat discomfort.

You managed to self diagnose with the use of Wikipedia and all without the use of blood work? WOW!

Have you even read the causes for this disease/symptoms? I doubt that you have.

Also, have you tried NOT vaping? You could possibly be one of the few people to be at risk of using eliquid. I'm not certain of the entire ingredients in eliquid, nor do I think anyone really is...but take your ... to the hospital and get over your fear!

If my toes looked anywhere near what's shown in those pic's, what the hell, I wouldn't need anyone to tell me to go to the hospital! I have gotten those blue fingers/lips/toes with an asthma attack as a kid......what the hell are you doing?

I am absolutely, positively, indubitably overwhelmed with fear for you. :confused:8-o:nah:

Dude, seriously, go see a doctor. The Internet is not a doctor. You should listen to what people are saying here and just make a doctor visit. You didn't smoke much to begin with, you are young, and have symptoms that aren't necessarily related to smoking cessation or vaping.

Self-diagnosis by an obscure disease you found on Wikipedia does nothing to help you.

Seriously dude, as a pharmacist speaking, See a doctor. I know for some people it's more frightening to know then not know, but you could have anything from mild asthma to pulmonary fibrosis, walking pneumonia, pulmonary aspergillosis to pulmonary hypertension. All of which are bad, but treatable. There is no way that vaping caused your symptoms unless you are SEVERELY allergic to something in the liquid. Either way a diagnosis by a physician is the only way you're going to know. Please don't be the 1st person to be labled as "the man killed by vaping". The tobacco company's would build a shrine of you in memorial.

Put down the PV and breathe some O2.... after I vape hardcore while I drink I feal shortness in my breath. Thats because I vaped too much in too short of a period. I used to feal the same way when I was smokin cigs too much. ANYTHING in excess is bad for anyone. Quit vapin and see a doc, suck it up man and get a breathing treatment or somethin. Hell, if you go to the ER and show them your toes you might get a shot of addrenaline, that will help them lungs suck up some O2.;-)

How is pulmonary fibrosis treated? My mother has it, to the best of my knowledge it's terminal.

In many cases it is terminal, however it can be treated with Immunosuppresants and/or High dose corticosteroids. Antifibrotic agents(i.e. Colchicine( a gout treatment), D-Penicillamine) can also be added. Lung transplant(if available) is warranted if disease progresses despite pharmacological intervention.
As someone mentioned before, there is a wealth of info available on the web.
