You might pick up some EvoraPlus. It's a probiotic mint that they say cleans and whitens your teeth, as well as clearing up bad breath. I've only been on it for about a week, so I couldn't say if it really whitens (stuff I've read says it takes 1-2 months to notice whitening). It sure does make your mouth feel cleaner. It's about $20/month (drug stores), but it's also supposed to slow gum recession and prevent bacterial problems like gingivitis.

Awesome info there, I had never heard of that. Makes sense though. Thanks!! Incidentally, I brush with bar soap, no harsh abrasives or flouride in there. And when the occasional filling falls out, there is no pain like there was brushing with toothPASTE. Soap is used to clean, paste is used for kid projects.

Thorn, I really, REALLY hope you're kidding. 8-o

Unless you're using a toothSOAP? If so, never heard of it!

Yes, I started out on toothsoap shreds ( at ToothSoap.com ) but am currently on Irish Spring. Both are airline friendly unless you get the liquid which was okay too. I tried Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil bar (as olive oil is extremely good for the body) but never could get use to the taste. some of the other soaps you really gotta watch out for with all the perfume chemicals they put in them.

Holy crap! I thought you were joking!

Sorry to be pestering you here, but when you said you're currently on Irish Spring, are you referring to the BODY soap or is there a TOOTH soap with the same name?

If it IS the 'shower' variety, I can't imagine using that! I got my mouth washed out twice in life, (once because I said the FILTHY word 'bugger'. In Scotland, that's like the f-word on steroids believe it or not!), and it was DISGUSTING!

Wow, learn a new thing everyday I guess! Thanks Thorn!

It's the regular bar soap. I find it has the fewest junk ingredients and it doesn't taste half bad. Granted, it isn't a pleasant food flavor but tolerable nonetheless. And it gets the job done well! I encourage you to check out toothsoap.com to start with. They have tasty flavors.

I have been vaping since last November and go to the dentist 4 times a year. 2 regular cleanings and 2 deep cleanings. Had a deep cleaning scheduled for the 5th-just past- and they decided I only needed a regular cleaning! I had missed my appointment the previous 3 months, too. So I say vaping has been a plus for my teeth. The dentist is considering moving me to every 4 months.
