Son almost killed my Evic

So my son comes in and grabs my evic and were standing there talking. He's 22. All of a sudden hes unscrewing my Evod off and juice comes pouring out. the coil was stuck in Evic. I know he felt awful it happened but I'm worried it's gonna be messed up now. I had just filled it up so a lot of juice came out. Has this happened to anyone else?

Paper towel the best you can. Maybe you should disassemble it and prop it upside down for a few hours to ensure some juice comes out and hope for the best.

I did this to mine the first day i had it, major panic and like a bolt of lightening i paper toweled the juice off, dissembled it made sure no more juice was left,and it did not suffer at all, it's now 4 months later and still working like a champ

This just happened to me a few hours ago. I was trying to refill my evod and same thing happened. I reacted fast enough and turned the device upside down so the juice would not run into the screen or the wheel.

I think its ok . I cleaned it real good yesterday and just let it be. I've been using it all morning and no problems. Thankgod. Hope yall are all having a good day!!

I wonder why they didn't design the EVOD with a reverse thread for the tank. that would prevent that from happening I think.

but you still would be able to unscrew the tank from the base while, screwing it on to the battery. All in all it may be a better design though

Yeah, that would be a bad idea as well! I knew there was a flaw in my plan somewhere! LOL

I hate the fact that the Evic head is recessed and makes it easier to accidentally unscrew the EVOD base when trying to remove it. So, I use a 510/Ego adapter to raise it above the recessed part. I never make that mistake anymore.

Looking at mine I guess you could remove the little cone that comes with the evic to make it non-recessed but I don't think it would look very good. You don't happen to have a pic of your setup, do you?

I use a T3 on mine and when I go to remove it, I always take the cone off first. That way I can be sure that I'm unscrewing the base and not the tank.
