You can test the voltage output of the battery with one. Red lead to the center pin +, black to the outer threads-. It's a quick way to see if you have a battery going weak or putting out more than it should. There are safeties built in to them but it's not unheard of in the cheaper starter sets for them to go wonky.

im gonna head to the store and see if they can help if push comes to shove ill just buy a new kit have noticed i would always get a loud crackling noise but now i get a low sizzling sound from the juice

on constant im getting 6v and on high V im getting 8v wowzer
would explain the battery duration decrease

Have you cleaned out the well and threads and airflow channel/holes on tank and battery? If its gunked up it can cause problems with the connectivity and the airflow.

Did you do a check on the current with just the leads touching and subtract that from the reading on the battery?

thank you everyone after going back to the store and being annoyed by the unprofessional/uneducated employee
figured out that the replacement coils they gave me were 1.8 ohm not the 2.2 ohm i needed also my battery was going crazy so they replaced it with a new one after the guy tried to work on my battery and broke it guy pretty much told me i was a dumbass in a indirect way
on a sour plus side i got 10 new 2.2 ohm coils along with a new battery and ejuice of my choice due to the rude employee that first started helping me
im back to getting good draws and no burnt taste yippppeee
