Soak gear in witch hazel?

I soak in Everclear or Vodka, but I have never heard of witch hazel. Look forward to reading the answers.

I usually use vodka also.. But I saw the witch hazel in the bathroom cabinet so I figured it would work. Haven't tried it.. Don't wanna ruin anything lol

Witch hazel actually may work quite well. I used that to clean fresh piercings back when I was getting them all the time.

I've heard of it, and always wondered what was in that stuff.

Interesting, I started out with plain water (which never really did it) Then went with rubbing alcohol since it cleans with extremely little effort and dries very quickly. Now wondering if the Witch Hazel is better, worse or the same

Any word on if this works or not? Always looking for new and better ways to get stubborn smells out of my tanks.
