Thanks... I did notice the prices are a little on the "Pricey" side compared to what I've been ordering. Just looking for a one stop spot to shop. Hate paying shipping from 2 or 3 different places.

You may not know this, but you can save 15% on your juice order if you order 5 or more...

Thank you for that little piece of insider info cigarman. I have a few juices that I like from another site so I'm going with the bigger bottle size there. Of course they don't have the carto I need so I'll make due with two purchases for now. Once I start experimenting with flavors again I'll keep that 15% discount at ST in mind.

Yeah, I've noticed that a LOT of vendors are starting to raise their prices. It was only a few months ago that I could get 50ml for 10 bucks for Dekang. Now, it's 10 bucks for 30ml.

Well... I've read a number of times now that the flavor guy from dekang left them to work for hangsen a few months ago. Hangsens juices improved and some people feel like the dekang juices might not be being made with the exact same recipes any more.

Starting about 2 months ago, I started seeing about half a dozen or so people becoming very vocal with their complaints about dekang juices with a couple of the forum vendors and also elsewhere (other forums and also vendors sites that allow reviews) I'm pretty sure it was mostly the same people everywhere I read that stuff judging by user names and locations. Some of those people started posting and reposting a screenshot of what is supposedly a dekang rep claiming that there was a bunch of counterfeit dekang getting to US and European vendors... I personally remain unconvinced and tend to remember all of the times in the last year and a half or so that I've had juices taste a lot different due to recipe changes, difference in steeping time, difference in temperatures etc etc etc. One thing that happened about a year or so ago that google can find about a hundred thousand pages discussing is when the Chinese Ry4 recipe changed... People freaked out.

So, I'm back to the flavor guy from dekang leaving dekang to work for hangsen: That doesn't seem to be just some sort of rumor. Sherif Sadek, owner/operator of vapourettes wrote an article recently where he says he read that rumor and then personally checked it out and discovered it was factual.

I have tried both the Dekang and Hangsen RY4 in the last two months and hands down the Hangsen juice is better to my tatse buds. We all know that taste is subjective so your results may differ. Just a shout out to SmokTek, thanks for having Hangsen RY4 in the large size. It is my all day vape and hard to find.

Madvapes has decent prices on dekang if you like 24mg. I'm not a fan of their custom china tho.

I think I'm actually making my juice order at MV and getting my cartos and some other stuff from SmokTek. As said earlier I was really trying to save on shipping but it just seems that no 1 vendor has everything that I need. Is it me or has there been a shortage of Boge LR cartos recently??? In stainless anyway. I just hate paying 2 or 3 shipping amounts due to the fact that I can never find my short list of items at one vendor.

OK... Rant over. Thank you guys for being very informative and supportive as always.

Good to know-thanks for posting.

That. About a year ago I bought some sale juices that tasted great when I got them, but not so great a couple of weeks later. I started researching how that could happen and, although I hit a lot of links, it took me a good while to sort a few things out. As usual, things are never 'that simple' and there's a lot more variables than I expected to find lol.

I find that I'm no longer in agreement with the good folks that say you can store e-liquids for long periods of time. True, they might not spoil, but they'll almost surely change taste and, for me, that change is usually not for the better.

One of the things that I've learned is to watch for is alcohol content, for two reasons. One- I'm convinced they change flavor faster, and two- high alcohol content tends to give me sandpaper throat after a few hours. I can vape it for a while, then I need to change to something smoother.

That:

I've noticed said "Sandpaper Throat" myself at times. Being fairly new to vaping I wasn't sure what was going on as it had been happening with some of my low nic (6mg) juices.

For those of us that aren't DIY people... how can we find out the percentage of alcohol? I'm looking at some juice that I ordered from MV and all it lists are pg/vg and organic flavors.

The only way I know is trial and error. If you like it, vape the heck out of it and if you start getting sandpaper throat, switch to something smoother. From my own experience and reading several posts here's some things to watch for.

Some of the irritants are nic, alchohol, pepper abstract, and some flavors.
Vg tends to protect from irritants better than pg, but vg is also a better humectant and you need to drink lots of water.

In the dekang juices, my favs are ry4, 555, and turkish, and none of those have given me any problems.

In fact, very few juices have given me a problem but the ones that did had a harsh quality to the th that I sorta liked, at least starting out. hth. Vape on. :vapor:

It helps. I've got some RY4 on the way. I must give the 555 a chance too at some point. I guess I got caught up in this whole flavor craze but it seems that maybe those are the ones that give it to me most. I've never experienced it with the simple juices (menthol or ry4).

Note to self... get more tabaco flavored juices.

If you haven't yet tried Desert Ship from DeKang or Hangsen, do yourself a favor and give it a shot. After trying over 100 juices I found this over two months ago and have been vaping it exclusively. It's great, always smooth, never loses flavor, my taste buds remain intact and I lost all desire to look for more.
