As mentioned, to get the best out of your RSST, take the plunge and try mesh wick. I like the RSST a lot (I've also got an AC9, which the RSST is based on), which is as easy as it gets in terms of doing a mesh wick genny build. You can get a pretty decent vape, with very good flavor and decent vapor production.

The build ease is due to the insulated wick hole and the relatively large space between the wick hole and the center post. If you're not great (like me) at doing rba builds, you could try the Drill Bit Method as a starting point.

Personally, I would suggest just diving in and doing a straight up coil wrap, as shown in the PBusardo RSST review/demo video.

You can see how even a less-than-careful build can get really good results. If you're wrapping the coil directly, be mindful of how tightly you're wrapping the coil around the wick; too tight or too loose is no good, but I think the RSST is very forgiving in this respect.

Okay here ya go..
I took about 1" length of 3 mm silica and have it in the tank with about 3/8" sticking out of the hole, I place a wad of cotton on top of the silica ( the silica feeds juice to the cotton), My coil is a nano coil ( i wrapped 30 ga around a sewing needle about 12 times), I then set the coil onto the cotton laying down but in line with the airhole ( coil runs from negative screw to the + post, right to left) once that is set up I soak the cotton with juice, replace top and have a good time... :)

Are you running it on a regular mod or mech? Also what ohms?

a bad day at the track is better than a day of not running at all

I use a fair amount of mesh and insert an additional sleeve of mesh inside the already fairly hollow wick. 500 mesh is a huge difference, at least for me from 400 mesh. 28 gauge is the best way to go for microcoiling by far. At least on this setup. 32 spools up faster but you can't get much surface area without having your ohms too high. 28 takes just a second to get going, but once it's warmed up during chain vaping, it goes to town
