Yup, the juice holes need to be blocked with wick or it will flood .. alot. Also, you have to use a syringe to refill thru the refill port (at the top). If you just use your bottle's tip, like I do with my Kayfun, it seems that the increase in air pressure will cause juice to flow into the chamber. Some unscrew the top of the tank and refill but you still need to close the air flow ring.

You're welcome Jughead. You will enjoy that tank once you get used to coiling it properly. You can hit it like a cig using one air hole open or deep lung hit it like a hookah with all five holes open...all depends on your preferences.

it may take a bit to figure out how much cotton to use to get it to work correctly. Like I said in another thread, I use 2 mm silica and it wicks real well and does not drown, leak or gurgle. Some folks have had a rough time trying to use cotton or rayon wicks though so you may have to be willing to experiment.

Here's what one of my coils that does work well looks like...clipped about 1 mm outside the chimney when installed:

That's five strands of 2 mm with four clipped just outside the coil but inside the chimney leaving a gap between it and the edge to allow air to backflow into the tank...the short pieces hold a lot of juice inside the coil.

I am using it with 6 wraps of 30G kanthal and leaving 1 mm or so sticking through. It is working well although it came out to be a little too high a resistance for my liking (about 1.8 ohms). I will probably try doing it with either 28G or cutting it down to 5 wraps of the 30G. Thanks again for the help, I am finally enjoying using it now.

I had the leaking problem with the RSBT when i used rayon; now I'm using organic cotton, and letting a bit of the wick fold down into the well before the tiny bit emerges from the side slots, and that seems to have fixed the leaking. It's hitting very well.
