While I know Gotvapes has to carry products that their clientele want to purchase and they do... but they also try very hard to push the safety aspects... Case in point can be seen in their own recommendation given for this very device...
It is my own belief that many ( or perhaps most ) Chinese manufacturers aren't concerned about safety... they are concerned about what helps to sell their products... if that means including certain safety features they will... but I don't believe they go out of their way to do research on this subject in order to protect their customers. This isn't true of all of them... just many of them.
A consumer that thinks it's up to the manufacturer to ensure their own safety... isn't taking into account their own responsibility to act safely... they are being naive. It sort of reminds me of the gal that sued McDonalds because she got burned by the hot coffee. A company may provide a device with certain spec's... but it is our own responsibility to use them in a safe manner.
