Hi.
I hope this is right section to write and ask for some help.
So purchased smok Xpriv baby kit couple months ago .
Is it normal that battery dies so quick ? I vape mostly at 45w and my day starts at 7.00 and around 13.00 the battery is dead .And I do get to vape only on my way to work (30min walk) and in launch break.

And charging takes for ages as well .Tried chargers tried charging directly from PC but no difference.

Any owners has similar issues or mine is just faulty ?

Um try to be more precise perhaps, define "ages." And really, you have to know the rate of speed you are charging at, etc.

It's probably faulty I mean, it's a SMOK product so I always err on the side of "faulty" but maybe not. Hopefully some others SMOK users can chime in, I don't know enough about the specs it has and etc.

You may want to look into a warranty IDK.

So it takes around 3-4h to get to full charge wont matter if charging trough PC or Charger.
Wish I would know about quality control issues before purchase. But was on rush when purchased.
Flavor is amazing compared to my old cheap vape. And it does server its purpose for now but have some travelling planed in next months so either have to buy two big battery packs or go for different daily vape solution. What brands or models are more reliable without breaking the bank too much ?

The baby is a LiPo mod with 2300ma in it, which is slightly smaller than the average single 18650 battery. They’re usually 2500-3000mah these days. A single 18650 won’t even do a whole day unless it’s vaped MTL. You sound like you’re vaping it at DL wattages, so it’s not super surprising that it doesn’t last a whole day. If you want a whole day device you’re going to need to either reduce to MTL wattages, buy something a lot larger, or buy a device with batteries you can change out and charge separately.

I agree with "bomb" above. Your current tank requires high wattages, which drain batteries much faster than a mouth-to-lung, low wattage tank would. Consider a tank like the Innokin Zlide, Innokin Zenith, or Aspire Nautilus. Fair warning: you won't get as much vapor with these tanks.

Or, you could get a mod that uses replaceable batteries. If your battery or batteries drain dead, you simply replace with a spare battery from a plastic battery case and continue to vape.

It's possible that you SMOK mod isn't very battery efficient and therefore is draining your battery quickly. Personally speaking, SMOK has a terrible reputation for quality control.
