DIY Kit for smok Vapor Chaser tank (VCT) - Dual Coil, 0.4 ohm

The smok VCT DIY Kit features a rebuildable DIY core for the VCT A1 and VCT X2 Sub Ohm Clearomizers by SmokTech.

The included rebuildable DIY core is designed for a dual coil build and is the same size as a regular replacement coil for the VCT. It comes pre-installed with a 0.4 ohm build (sub ohm), and requires wicking prior to use. Like the A1-core replacement coils, you can adjust liquid flow to the coils: to increase or decrease the flow of e-liquid to the coil, simply spinn the control ring on the housing to expose or cover the dual air channels. With this feature you can get the best out of your thinner PG or thicker VG based juices.

The Smok VCT DIY Kit is intended for experienced users, and requires the use of an ohm meter and technical know-how.

The Smok VCT DIY Kit Includes:
1 x Rebuildable DIY core (pre-installed with a 0.4 sub ohm dual coil build)
1 x Packet of organic cotton
4 x Pre-built coils
2 x Spare insulators
2 x Spare o-rings
1 x Small plastic box to keep items in when not in use

General guidelines for use:

  • Take out the insulator and positive pin from the bottom of the housing
  • Unscrew the top cap from the housing, and insert two coils into the ground and positive holes on the deck
  • Push the ground leads outside the housing
  • Re-insert the insulator, while keeping the ground leads outside and the positive leads in the middle (the insulator should go over the ground leads, but not your positive leads)
  • Push the positive leads out and re-insert the positive pin, making sure they make contact
  • Trim any leads that are sticking out
  • Using an ohm reader, check the resistance of your build
  • Wick with cotton, screw the top cap back onto the DIY core, prime and install in your VCT tank
Recommended wattage range: 20W - 30W

PLEASE NOTE: Please only use these sub ohm (0.4 ohm) coils with devices capable of handling sub ohm coils. If using a mechanical mod, please only use High Drain batteries with a high amp limit; if using a variable power mod, please use High Drain batteries in a device capable of putting out 20W or higher. NEVER use sub ohm coils on an eGo battery or a device unequipped to support sub ohm coils. It is for your safety!
