Now we've all heard about this sweet little handcrafted mod.. made out of Brazilian zebrawood. It really does look good in pictures, although of course it doesn't do the mod justice in real life. This device is a pleasure to use and hold. Build quality is superb, and the smell of the wood.. my oh my. Reminds me of those expensive pianos.. and it stays on your hands for awhile after extended use. Lovely. It's a little on the lighter side, like @KenshinAdryan mentioned.. but once with a battery inside it sorta balances out. As you can see from the pics I have a Kepler heat sink + Bellus mounted and it feels good.. not so top heavy.
With it vape-ready it feels nice in your hand. The mod is very smooth, (those with slippery hands, beware!) Had a scare when i took it out of the box earlier and it slipped out of my butter fingers but thank God I caught it between my thighs. Don't ask. Buttons are solid and very clicky. Firmware is pretty responsive. Very fast response especially when changing wattages. Haven't tested TC mode yet but am looking forward. Just had its first field test today, overall a solid performer, and although it's a little early to tell; i'd say it's built to last. This thing. The wood has a coat to protect its surface. Not too shiny, more of a matt finish. Single 18650 with a magnetic battery cover. No rattles. Based on Smok's webby there's quite abit of tech under the hood as well. I won't go into so much detail there but I have to say the ohm's reading is very accurate based on comparisons with my coil master resistance meter.. A worthy collector's item for any discerning vaper. 9/10
