The RPM Lite maintains the excellent IQ-R chip which boasts great fire reactivity, (only 0.001S,) the RPM Lite combines the dimensional advantages of a Pod with the performance advantages of a Box.

In this Lite version compared to the RPM40 the dimensions have been further reduced, the battery capacity of 1250Mah still allows it to manage a power range from 1W to 40W with a discrete autonomy, the various functions are also well controllable thanks to the "enormous "0.96 inch color display.

The cartridge holds up to 3.3ml of liquid and houses the excellent RPM coils already seen on the RPM40.

The smok RPM40 Lite Kit arrives in this pack with the following facade design; the SMOK brand is clearly visible at the top, below is the image of the RPM Lite, alongside we find some main features in the form of 4 red circles, at the bottom we find the writing RPM Lite Kit and the indication "Gold" concerning the coloring of my copy.

On the back side it is remembered that it is the RPM Lite Kit (not salable to minors), it is also reported the content together with the various warnings, logos / brands.

The scratch and check for checking originality is located on the narrow upper side of the package.

On the first of the two long sides we find the wording Made in China with a serial number alongside, the bar code and the classic anti-counterfeiting Smok home holographic system.

The various addresses of the manufacturer are shown on the other side.

The RPM Lite Kit is available in five different colors, the painting concerns the metal part, the plastic parts are black on all versions.

The shape of the RPM Lite is compact thanks to the pod (aio) tank system which also makes it very resistant to accidental falls.

The activation button in plastic material is well-sized and comfortable to click, under it we find the 0.96 "display with clear and easy to read indications, the up / down keys are located below and in the lower part we find charging socket.

The rear side is clean, only highlights the air-flow (not adjustable) in the upper part.

The pod holding compartment houses two black painted magnets and two gold / plated contact pins to transfer the current to the coil. The photo also shows the aforementioned air-flow loop.

On the lower part of the RPM Lite we find the C E mark, the disposal logo, the mention to the IQ-40 Chip with which the RPM Lite is equipped, finally for the battery the capacity of 1250Mah is reported.

The 3.3ml tank / pod supplied can accommodate all the coils of the RPM series, the cylindrical Drip-Tip is not replaceable as it is an integral part of the pod, the lower part of the pod has two tenacious magnets and of course the hole for insertion of replaceable coils.

The image below shows the pod seen from behind and from the side of the refil with the red silicone tab that acts as a tank cap.

We have seen that there is no regulation of the air flow, consequently the resulting contrast of pull is directly linked to the size of the air-flow placed on the coils.

Note the size of the slots obtained on the supplied coils, on the left we can see the large size obtained on the 0.45Ω coil for the flavor, on the right on the 0.8Ω for MTL this slot is much smaller.

Apart it is possible to buy the Rba Base to regenerate.

An intelligent accessory because regenerating means trying different solutions that are more suitable for us and also saving money since the pre-made, albeit low-cost, coils offer real savings. With this RBA built as well as Smok provides it I'm vaping from 18 to 22W the type of shot it provides I find that it is rightly balanced, it is not as closed as with the 0.8Ω coil I would say that the contrast (light) looks more like that of the 0.4Ω mesh coil with which it shares a very similar air-flow undercoil opening.

It is not difficult to regenerate this small deck, despite the small size there is space to work, the cross screws are well made and the thread thanks to the guides is easily tightened, logically while doing this operation is necessary (since being lacking we cannot screw 510 thread on any tab or box) hold it still with at least two fingers of one hand, even if not necessary a small clamp could facilitate the task.

How The RPM Lite Kit Works:

This Aio is really simple and intuitive, with 5 clicks on the fire button we turn on / off the device, with the up and down buttons we select the wattage from 1 up to 40w with an increase / decrease of 1 watt at a time, pressing them together (up and down ) we can lock the wattage (but we can still vape) to unlock it again: up / down pressed together; to completely block the device including the fire button (we won't be able to vape) 3 quick clicks on the fire button, to unlock it again 3 quick clicks, to reset the puffs just press together down button and fire button, to change the color of the display just press together up button and fire button (there are 6 color choices).

The 0.96-inch color display, in addition to the Watt indication, includes the reading of the ohms, volts and the number of puffs, in addition, the battery symbol indicates very clearly the remaining charge.

To fully recharge the 1.250mah battery it takes an average of 55 minutes.

Conclusions:

I think the RPM Lite is a performance pod system with captivating aesthetics, both sides of the device are bare and smooth, on the "command bridge" there is a snappy fire button, square in shape and beveled on the sides, the color screen 0.96 "is bright and colorful, offers easy reading and is the soul of this device, worthy of much more expensive mods, the rocker style adjustment buttons are also beautiful, snappy and free from annoying noises, the micro port USB has a speed of 5V / 1.2A and allows you to recharge the internal 1250 mAh battery quickly, the mod is also well equipped with regards to safety, overall I found the RPM Lite Kit a rather solid device. I have encountered problems of leaks or accumulations of condensate, now this pleasant feature accompanies all the recently released Smok / Aio products.

With both Coils supplied this kit proves mainly intended for vaping in Restricted Flavor, unless you try some specific MTL coils among the optional ones (RPM SC 1.0Ω or RPM Quartz 1.2Ω) which should offer a little 'more contrast in shooting.

The 0.4Ω mesh RPM (which I also appreciated on the RPM 40Kit) offers optimal flavor and obviously the volume of the clouds is what is expected from a mesh, the recommended power to be set is 25W even if this kit seems manage well powers of 30W and beyond without charging (within the limits of the 1.250Mah battery).

The RPM DC Coil MTL 0.8Ω has a recommended use of 16W and to be a smaller and non-meshed resistor it works almost equally well. The taste is good but it is not as defined as with the mesh. At 16w, however, the quantity of steam emitted is highly respectable. The shot has a slightly higher contrast but is still basically a fairly open vape.

I recommend this Mod to those who want to Vap in Restricted / Flavor in a non-compulsive way and to those looking for a comfortable and ultra-transportable forklift truck with good performance.
