SMOK H-PIV 220w + SMOK TFV8 Error?

hello guys.
i'ts been a while
i've recently bought a new mod: ^^a smok H-PIV 220w and also the smok TFV8 Atomizer.

i'am using the pre-installed coil for the atomizer, but sometimes.
Iam getting a "!don't abuse protectors" indicator on my screen ...
i've had the mod for 2 days now, and have no idea of what it could be ?
help anyone?

Have you read the manual? I suspect it means you are trying to use it immediately after another alarm event like an atomizer short or disconnect.

nah. it can be standing, and i will randomly take a vape from it.... if fires op fine, but sometimes it just pops up ...

I take it you didn't read the manual then? Two minutes googling turned this up
Smok Tfv4 and Smok Koopor Plus 200W : "Short Atomizer" ...and "Don't abuse protects"

My best guess is your mod is faulty.

i have seen the "don't abuse protector warning" only after
"atomizer short" warning.
I've got the SMOK alien... for just a day. Considering their close release and same specs it might be the
same chip.
It was when i was trying to pulse some claptons in an RTA to get the hotspots out and such.
Put it over on my Reuleaux, which allowed me to pulse the coils, put it back on the alien and it worked.

Long story short, i think it might be something with your coils. Have you tried with another coil?
Does it come with another warning before that "don't abuse protector warning"?
Have you updated the firmware?

iam running version 1.1.1 ( the newest)
i've taking the coil out, and put it back in again, but not tighten it so much this time. - i also had it on my E-Vic mod, just to check. - No problems ....
i tested it again after some fresh batteries ...and havnt seen the pop-up since?! :O
