Smok G320 Not Working at All

Hello all. I have been searching for a solution to this problem online for about two days now, and with no helpful solutions, I figured I would ask for a possible solution on here. My buddy has a smok G320, and attempted to charge it with a Samsung lightning charger. He left it charging for a while, leaving it unsupervised, and came back to the mod itself being very hot. He took it off the charger immediately, but it had stopped working and still does not work. I have tried various things to see if it would work again (changing the batteries, charging the original batteries with a Nitecore i2, trying to turn it on multiple times, trying to update the firmware and/or see if my PC would recognize that the mod was connected via USB). Again, I found no help online, not even an individual with the same problem as I. If there is something I can do to possibly fix this problem, let me know. Thank you.
