Hey so I've been having this mod for 3 days and all of a sudden all my e juice dripped down while I had it in my pocket and now it says "Ohm too low" even without an atty.I have cleaned the 510,I have tried hitting it like this:
or doing this:
My 510 was loose and I have tightened it and now it's connected to the coil basically(my english is not very good so I hope you understand what I'm saying here).
After I've done that,my alien doesn't respond to the fire button or any other button, and say s ohms too low from time to time without me pressing anything. It also reads A 0 V 0 O 0.
Is it my batteries? Is it my motherboard? Is it my 510?What is it?I've been trying to figure it out for 6 hours browsing almost every single video/post about it and I still have no clue. Thanks in advance!

Well e-liquid getting down into a mod can cause problems, and often with the electronics. I would remove the batteries completely, clean it out as best I could (probably using alcohol or some other solvent) and clean the batteries as well (wipe them off and if it seems they are very saturated, maybe use a different set of batteries) and then let the mod air dry for a while. It seems like an electrical problem to me if the "ohms too low" is displaying even with nothing attached to the mod. It may or may not be salvageable, unfortunately, but personally I wouldn't be too comfortable trying to take apart the electronics (myself). You could try bringing it to a vape store to see if they have any ideas if there is a good one near you, but unfortunately it is possible that your mod is toast.

With that said, there are some really knowledgeable smok owners or electronics experts and they may have some ideas for you. Best of luck,

Anna

I have no vape store neither in my town or near it.I have purchased it from GearBest. It was working fine before my e liquid leaked all over. The 510 pin is really loose and I don't know how to fix it(maybe this is the reason?)Here are the screenshots:

That weird display of A0V0O0 makes me suspicious of the board going bad. Maybe from the leak or not, but it doesn't matter. It's a new mod failure and getting a replacement is appropriate for a 3 day old mod. Not sure how Gearbest is when it comes to service, but that's what I would pursue.

My bad,I have edited my last comment with photos, that's how it looks like.I have fully charged my batteries and now the Ohm too low is the only problem I'm facing.I have submitted a ticket but I've yet to receive a reply(I think it will take a few days since it's Christmas and all).If you want photos This is the only kit I have so I cannot test it on another one.

The atty or the mod? I don't see how the tank base would be a problem for an ohm too low notice. That would usually just show as no atomizer. I use the Baby and BBB on mine, so no tvf12 experience, but doesn't it have a floating pin? It should just push down. What do you think is loose?

I'm not sure there is a way to do so safely. Regardless, if the mod's 3 days old, I'd probably be more comfortable warrantying it, honestly. Gearbest is NOT the easiest vendor to deal with as far as return/replace, but it can be done. It may take some time and I haven't found them to be the easiest vendor to handle (I won't go into my Gearbest rant at this time) but there have been people who have successfully gotten their gear warrantied. A bit of a process, but doable.

I guess it's the mod, you're right.I've pushed the pin up and down a bit and now I have trouble putting it back it,but I can just buy a replacement base for the tfv12 for 5 $ so it's not a problem.
Also, thanks Anna,I will wait for their reply and I will inform you guys.

Eh, be careful on the disassembly, especially if you want to exchange or return it to service. It can avoid the warranty. If you had it a while I'd say go for it, but if you can't revive it and your attempt at repair is evident they may bag the repair/replacement. As both Gearbest and Smok are not exactly known for great support if you muck it up yourself you'll probably be stuck with it. Given both companies you might possibly end up stuck with it anyway.

So I've solved it out with GearBest. They asked me what steps I've already taken to solve the problem and then they said I can keep the mod and offered me my money back. Thanks once again for the help guys!
Take their offer before they change their mind. I've never had to deal with their customer service, but it is a Chinese company and you just never know, you know?
