Just because the cell came with it doesn't mean it is the correct or a sufficient cell.
If the cell cannot be identified by normal means using the letters, numbers, name brand & color of wrap it shouldn't be used.
You must use a cell with a sufficient CDR to support the power range you use or it could become dangerous.
Heat is a warning sign, hot is a bad thing.

Yeah that sound like my problem

I asked if it was leaking previously, you didn't answer.
If it is leaking from the air inlets the coil is flooded, there are quite a few cause's.
If your power device is not able to provide the amps necessary to provide your set wattage due to use of an insufficient cell, that would be one cause, one that could become dangerous.

Have you changed pg/vg ratio?

I haven’t changed the pg it only leaks sometimes from air holes

@Topwater Elvis you have more patience than we deserve. I don't know how you do it.

I wouldn't be surprised if when they use it they're blocking off the air flow holes with the inside of their hand.

When you say it gets hot, do you mean the battery cap? I also have a AL85, but this is my second one. My first one died, and before it died, it was doing what you’re describing. little to no vape, and if I was touching the battery cap as I’m trying to vape, it would very hot, like burn my finger hot. I was also getting “check battery” warning or low battery even though it was nearly fully charged. Check if the ohms match the coil you’re using. Check if it’s reading the correct battery voltage. Mine was reading very low, about 2.9 to 2.5 volts which is way too low.
