Hi, I just received my sigelei 75W Temp Control mod the other day, I really like it except I wish battery life was a bit better. But would any owners agree when the 'battery meter' is around 40 % (eyed it, cause it's just a bar) the battery is at 3.7 volts? Also, some recommend not going below 3.7 volts, would you say vaping a battery till it will no longer fire on this mod is -ok-? I had heard to not go below 3.7 volts for battery longevity, but I plan on buying all new batteries once a year anyway (for safety as well).

Thanks

It'll be fine to vape until you get the low battery warning. Not going below 3.7v is mainly for mech mod users, as there's a risk of running down the batteries until they get damaged (below 2.8-2.5v depending on the battery) and due to the diminishing vape quality.

Its a regulated device. You'll be fine. The mah ratings are measured from a full charge to well below 3v.

I've been using the same panasonic cells for years in my flashlights. My light brings them down to about 3v. They still seem to work well.

My ipv4 brings my cells down to about 3.1v. The sigeli 50w vr2 brings them down to around 3.2. If anything the 3.4-3.5 that the 75 brings them down to is high and is part of the reason for the low battery life. Its not really taking full advantage of the batteries imo.

I could see limiting higher wattages at lower battery voltages but I don't see the need to cut off when drawing less than 35w at 3.5v. Just my opinion.
