Why couldn't the Defender be wrapped? It looks to me that one could easily do that one themselves as there would not have to be any cutouts. Personally, I wouldn't want to cover the top silvery part anyway.

I got the peacock finish it's a very nice with what seems to be a pretty tough and durable almost wrap like finish to it. I like the way the mod looks and handles and love being able to easily use an ego threaded topper if I choose on the fly without having to locate an adapter. It's a bit heavier than the sticks, but the connection in the center also tends to make me feel like it's more secure when being thrown in my purse -- which I certainly do!

I just saw that there is now a 36 watt version -- for those that want more watts. So, look for sales on the first version.

Ha, ha. There's more than one Defender. There's the one from HG and the DVPO one that has a replacable battery which is the one I thought of. It's waterproof and has all kinds of transformer like stuff on it. Not what you were thining of.

I am kinda sorry I didn't pick up one of those Defenders like you've got. That peacock finish sounds nice, I've never seen it. I love the centered 510 connection. I've only seen that in one other box mod and ever since, throwing the atty off to the side seems silly and off balance (usually). I haven't seen the Defender stateside.

I'm nervous about mods with batteries in them. It's hard for me to trust them enough to put money into them. I'd be really upset with anything over $20 (about) that died on me right away. I tend to expect at least a year of use and I'll change batteries 4 times a day to get it if I have too. I had a ton of name brand expensive failures with ego's when I first started. That's why I bought a Provari.

There's benefits to both when it comes to built in battery or not. I like a mix now. I've got an istick 20, so there's room for a little replaceable battery one but I'd want it built to last and now I need something to try out my new sub ohm tanks.

That "smelly" has some good reviews on YouTube but largely unavailable. I just ignore what I can't get. That includes the Ego One in blue. I really don't like box shapes like SMOK or Sigelei, which is a shame because I lean towards being a Sigelei fan.

First choice would be the IPV mini2 since it's solid for $55 and second choice remains the Kbox at $23 (the limits on the Kbox wattages really concern me). Both are sales so I need to move or loose 'em. I'm rambling.

See the kbox for me would be an out right off the bat, it goes from 8 to 13 watts, I normally vape around 10 watts, so would be pointless for me

That's what I'm afraid of. These are atlantis tanks which I've heard are good at 30-35w and I can't imagine that, much less have anything that has that much power. I committed to giving it a go and by vape, I'm going to give it a go (even though I'd really rather be buying a new drip tip). I'm kinda sorry I started this. Life is much simpler when a person remains ignorant of all the new stuff. I also have no idea what google glass is and I like it that way.

Go for it girl. You may find you love it. If not you can resale it. You can be a Tootle Puffer by day and a Fog Machine by night.

I looked, but couldn't find... Where is gear best located? It's an online store, but from which country?

The land of rice, tea, silk, fireworks, and dragons... :D

China. But they ship quite fast, and you don't have doubtful clones. Lately is my favorite store, although FT for certain things remains king.

That's good to know; I had been considering something of theirs at one point, but thanks to my most recent adventures in ordering from the Far East, I decided it was worth it to me to order from someplace closer to home -- I've usually had good luck ordering from e5cigs in HK, but this last time was the pits, and the 6 wks+1day from FT isn't to be borne.

Oh BTW... I got the short pink Kayfun tank, and I was right, the pink of the short ones looks great with the pink iStick -- though you need the purple one, for the tall M-tanks.

I always tell the tale of how I got my T4 in 8 days sharp from FT...

Not as fast as an american store, mind you... They're halfway across the world, so 4 weeks is the usual time. Problem is with FT that if what you want isn't in stock it'll take twice as long, so be mindful of "ships in x days"

The thing I ordered was in stock, and got shipped the next day... THEN it took 6wks+1day to reach me! If I'd upgraded the shipping, that probably wouldn't have happened, but for an item that cost $2.31, it seemed dumb to pay $5 shipping.

The e5cigs problem... no idea; their shipping isn't free, but I chose the one that's supposed to be quickest among the "regular" shipping options, and in the past, that option brought me my goods in about 11-13 days -- this last time it took over 4 wks. So I think I'm pretty much done ordering from the Far East; even when they get the stuff out of their door in a reasonable time, there are just too many idiots between them and me. (Flushing, NY USPS, I'm looking at YOU!).

There's a lot of small items I've gotten from FT that have been really good. But the biggest reason is it's one stop shopping. I don't know of anywhere else selling the selection they do and they warrenty products longer than manufacturers. I'll go in just to double check specs on occasion too. They also have some interesting discussions about products and almost everything vaping-wise has been reviewed, often with pics or posting of a video.

However, lately I've been able to meet their prices stateside. vapeCrawler has helped.

I do like the looks of this one. ttp://Authentic Smowell DPV-65 Variable Wattage 6 - 65W Mini Box Mod 510 Thread VW Mod Use Dual 18650 Batteries-39 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com

Vape.deals is also helpful -- that's the one that used to be "gotsmok". Though he does tend to fluctuate between cloud chasers and newbie starter kits, not too much stuff in-between. But, sometimes if you follow one of his links to something you're not terribly interested in, but it's a good price, you can find other good prices on stuff that actually interests you. :thumb:
