Hi everyone, I'm new to vapping and i went to a store to buy some e-liquid, I bougth a "Vapy complex edition" that comes in a 50 ml bottle. When I got home I realized that was a shortfill e-liquid to add nicotine. On the bottle it says to add 10 ml of base and shaking before smoking. My question is, since i smoke without nicotine is it ok to use this e-liquid without adding the nicotine ?

I'm not familiar with the term "shortfill".

I tried to research Vapy complex edition and got confused. I'm think what you have is flavored e-liquid without nicotine. If so, yes you can vape that without adding nicotine if that is your desire.

Are you a previous smoker? My question is, if you are a beginner vaper who smoked, why would you want to use an e-liquid without nicotine. Are you a "recreational vaper"?

The bottle is 60 ml and it as 50 ml of e-liquid the 10 ml left empty on the bottle is to add the nicotine base, I tried to research and I saw the term "short fill".
I stopped smoking, but I still have the temptation to smoke when I'm whit friends or on a break, it felt weird not having something to smoke, but at the same time I don't want to get back to nicotine and I choose to try vapping whitout nicotine and so far I'm feeling satisfied with it.

Hi and welcome,
The short fills are, in general, over flavoured by about 20%.
The liquid you have would need an additional 10ml of PG,VG or a mixture of both to be "properly' flavoured.
It is perfectly fine to vape as is, it may just be a bit strong.

Cheers
I

ETA: What flavour did you get?
In the UK, Boots sells VG that you can add directly.

It is okay to vape; but it may be/taste over-flavored. Because it was crafted, to be used with another 17% volume added to the contents before vaping, the flavor concentration may be too much.

Adding an equivalent volume (10mL) of plain PG, VG, or a combination of both; will get it down to the proper dilution level without adding any nic.

You can check with your local vape shop to see if they sell any unflavored, 0mg/mL nic, e-liquid and use that. If you live in the U.S. you can find plain VG in the pharmacy section of Walmart. If you have businesses nearby, that cater to livestock care; they often have both PG, and VG available; as well as syringes for measuring.

Ok, I understand now. The nice thing about vaping is not only can it provide nicotine in a healthier medium, but it also mimics the BEHAVIOR of smoking (hand-to-mouth behavior; inhaling/exhaling something). If it works for you, it works. :thumb:

Exactly, I couldn't explain better than you, it mimics the behavior and sometimes missing that behavior it's all it takes to get back to smoking.

I get a "Vapy Complex Edition Refresher" it's mentol, watermelon and strawberry. I tried to vape and it's actually pretty good, it's not very strong, at least not as I was expecting, it's not strong enough to make me say I couldn't vape. I'll probably not gonna add anything more. Thanks for the help :thumb:

I tried to vape and it's actually good, not strong enough to make me add anything, it's enjoyable. Thanks a lot for the help buddy :thumb:

I vape zero nicotine juice and never felt better. Vaping without nic can save you quite a bit of money. Especially some fruit and menthol, peppermint, cinnamon vapes can be stretched by adding a small amount of PG/VG (or both) to premixed e-liquids. Other mixes, not so much.

There's still one advantage to adding VG. It's usually a good bit cheaper than juice, so it would extend your juice without much cost. If you like it as it is that's fine too, so it's just a matter of how much cost is a factor for you.

Well, I'm glad vaping 0 nic is working for you. Unless you quit very recently, you'll probably continue to like the flavor, if you like it now.

If you have recently quit, however, you may find your sense of smell and taste returning sometimes it is quite startling! As a decades long smoker I was shocked to discover what food "tasted" like. If you are a recent ex-smoker, you may discover that you wish to dilute your storebought 0 nic juice down a bit, if it begins to taste overflavored.

Best of luck and welcome.

Same reply as some of the above. The Shortfill bottles will be increased in flavour to allow for the addition of Nicotine Shots. If you want to still vape at 0 Nic levels, then either vape the shortfill bottle with the increased flavour or add a 50/50 mix of PG/VG to top the bottle up which will keep the original PG/VG ratio.
