So, I'm looking for a new juice, but overwhelmed by the choices. Seems every time I sit down to order one, I just troll these forums, look at a bunch of vendor sites, decide on 4 or 5, but never order anything. I really like RY4 type tobaccos typically, but I've never tried 555 that I know of. Can anyone give me a basic comparison between these two flavors?

At the most basic level, 555 is tobacco flavor with some kind of nut. It is primarily a tobacco blend. RY4 is tobacco, caramel, and vanilla, and is less a tobacco blend per se than it's own unique flavor concoction.

A given vendor's 555 might include small amounts of caramel and/or vanilla, and some RY4s add a nutty flavor component. But those tend to be exceptions to the standard flavor profile.

555 is typically a nutty tobacco flavor that emulates State Express 555 cigarettes. Many people find it tastes most like peanut, peanut butter, or cashews.

RY4 is typically a tobacco base with vanilla, caramel, and spices. Check out the RY4 thread - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...views/193327-really-big-ry4-roundup-long.html

So both flavors have aspects I love, and they can merge together in one extreme or another...guess I'll have to get 2 bottles, one of each style from somewhere...then eventually two from each vendor I like. :)

Or you can have the best of both worlds. Try KY Premium and/or KY4 from Vermillion River.

My favorite juice right now is a 555 (Vapor Room), I think it is perfect - just a little sweet, a little nutty, and you can still taste tobacco. I wanted to try more and some veterans told me that the 555's are all over the map. Yesterday I received 555 from AV and it is nothing like the one I like.
I really like the RY4 from Vapor Room too and have been going back and forth, sharing a carto.
I haven't been doing this for very long, but I think I'm gonna stick with what I know for a while. Just ordered 60ml of my 555.

I've tried several Ry4's and liked all of them. I started with EC Blends' Ry4, and tried a few others that were good too. Most recently, I've settled on VaporEscence's Ry4 and it's one of my top 3 vapes right now. I need to try some others.

The only 555 I've tried was SpringVapor's Black Label 555 and it was great. I've almost used up my 10ml bottle of it, although I've been rationing it until I can order more. I never thought I would like a "nutty" flavor, but I do. I'm going to try some of the more highly recommended 555's to compare.

halo's prime 15 is a 555 and its a winner. another winner 555 for me is line rider from nite lite vapor. both are worlds apart, but both satisfy me immensely. im not a huge RY4 fan, although i do dig them from time to time. 555s tend to hit harder, and thats what im after. its not so much the flavor but the "punch" that nut blends tend to deliver. so if your after a punch, youd probably like what i like.

I have a sample of KY Premium coming to me, if I like it I'll reorder and get their RY4 to go along with it. I really see myself going nuts and trying all the RY4's I can find. So far my favorites have been Heather's Heavenly Vapes Heavenly Tobacco and Halo's Tribeca.

Hey Kemo! I like the Prime 15 a lot, on my 2nd 10 mil bottle in about 2 weeks. I like Tribeca a bit more but after vaping it all day, water started to taste like sugar water. I don't get this with Prime. I'll have to try the NLV, if I ever catch them when they are in their selling phase.

no casa inst a 555. casa is its own beast. i get a tobacco with bitterness. the bitterness is unsweetened cocoa, but to me it resembles black coffee. but thats just probably my lack of bitterness knowledge lol. and the tobacco isnt a traditional tobacco, its more of a turkish tobacco.

So, is BWB Casablanca considered a 555? It's got a bit of a nutty flavor to me.
