RTA dubble bubble trubble?

Ok, I have built a few different RTAs including Kayfuns, Orchids, Lemos, Foggers, and lately Kanger Subtank RBAs. It seems that on nearly all of them, as a rule rather than the exception, the RTAs only bubble from one side. This is pretty consistent for me. I'm going to say that if I've done 100 builds, 98 will only feed from one side. At least that's what it looks like as only one side bubbles.

Right now I'm vaping an istick 30 with a Kanger Sub Mini. The rba has the original coil as received, which I wicked with Japanese cotton. It vapes great with no dry hits, but still only bubbles from one side.

So I am curious:

Is this typical?...or am I a failure?...thoughts?

after taking a puff - vaporizing the liquid - it feeds the wicks, then air has to escape into the tank - the air takes a path with the least amount of resistance, usually the same "one side" every time.

Exactly right. And it's usually on the high side of the atty when drawing.

I was going to start a post with the exact same question. My Lemo (my first RTA) only bubbles from one side as well. Works like a champ, but I was curious as to if this was normal. I know on something like a nautilus, it would bubble on both or all four holes. Now I feel better.

Thanks all. I figured it was no big deal as long as the wick wasn't drying out, but wanted to hear other's experiences.

Yep. Air goes up. Its lighter than the liquid. Boats float because they are full of air. When they become full of water, they sink, lol!
