To all the mouth to lung (Tootle Puffers) here ... There was a time when the famous "kayfun Lite-Plus V2" was the gold standard when it came to single coil / higher ohm / low amp Tootle Puffing.

Now that this atomizer (to include all the Chinese clones of it) are so very hard to come by (to include spare parts), has anyone here replaced there old kayfun Lites with the new "Kayfun Lite 2019" atomizer ?

I just ordered a couple of Chinese clones of the Kayfun Lite 2019 so I can make the big changeover.

Good bye to the sweet Kayfun Lite-Plus V2
Almost 6 years vaping on this
Rest in Peace ....

Yes, RIP. We (mtl tootlepuffers) all owe Kayfun a debt of gratitude for what they did. But so many just do it better now (and still better than their 2019), they're just a sentimental backup to backup to backup in my stock now. Just get a bunch of SXK/SJMY doggystyles and some Ehpro True MTL's and relegate your Kayfuns to the vapocolypse stash. Seriously, there are so many better (easier/more reliable/less fussy/fewer parts) rta's now. Even Berserkers and many others are just better at delivering an mtl vape than those now.

The KFL+V2 (EHPro) is still the El Presidente of my modest lineup, but I haven't chased latest & greatest for a few years. I haven't tried the KF 2019, to compare it to. I drilled out 4 of my 7 KFL's to 5/64 on all the air passages, to loosen it up just a smidge. Lots of spare parts to keep 'em going, but in almost 4 years, I haven't even needed to change an o-ring yet.

I think as long as we find our #1, no matter what it is, is what's important.
God love your blessed wee socks! I wish I could behave like you and be satisfied with what I'm satisfied with.

I relish the basic simplicity of the KFL 2019. At first I hemmed and hawed at the prospects of returning to bottom fill. But I find myself appreciating the few parts and simplicity of cleaning. The build couldn't be any simpler. How I love convenience!
FT has a top fill replacement tank for the 2019, it's what I am using on mine. I picked up some top fill sections for the KFL+ too.

Yes, I thought I would order the top fill but find myself not minding. You do lose a little capacity with the top fill, ya know.

I know!!!..I recently had to grab a couple because I hadn't realized that i had given all but one away. Vapers.can't have just one of something ;)

Yeah, I've only got one. Ordered a couple from FT once but they were the wrong size. Just doesn't feel right, only having one.

Last time I looked on C de V they were really cheap. Figured they might be closing them out and I was going to grab a couple but I forgot.

Well, I never did get into the KF thing, it just didn't work for me. OTOH, my fave for the last year or two have been SJMY Doggies at 13-14 watts

I totally agree with you @Brewdawg1181 that there are a lot of great atties on the market for us low watt vapers now. My Siren V2 and Ehpro True 2 MTL are both very good also. So many great tanks out there now @corvette, I'm sure if you want to find something new you'll be able to. Best of luck with it :thumb:

I saw this thread and laughed out loud sitting at my desk at work. Back in 2014 I bought a black Ehpro Kayfun lite clone and a Clouper DNA 30 box. It was love at first vape and I shunned all other vaping tech. Guess what I use today? An Ehpro Kayfun lite and a Clouper DNA 30! Certainly not the same ones from 2014 but those did last me up until about six months ago. My clear tanks finally gave out and I lost both screws to the door on the Clouper. But I was lucky enough to find a site that had the Ehpros on clearance so I bought three more and then I found some Cloupers on another site also clearance so I bought two of those. I also found some smoked poly tanks on FT and bought a dozen of those so I'll be set for a while. Like others I just love the simplicity and ease of this set up. And the vape, although not cloudy by any means, is extremely satisfying. Just cracks me up because I thought I was probably the last one on earth still using this ancient equipment. Glad to know there are still other members of the Kayfun cult. ;)
