Hey I just joined and have a very frustrating problem that is almost driving me to buy some cigarettes.

The small o ring between the rim of the glass and the head/mouth part came loose and fell off eventually...i gqvehave no idea how to get the replacement on it just wont stick. Do I need glue or something?

I assumed there would be a thread type groove to fit around the rim of the coil but no...ive been trying for hours someones help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a Teslacigs Terminator starter kit. Maybe the pic I uploaded helps?

If it is the O-Ring on the Top Cover, it looks like it just sits there.

Don't ever use Glue. But sometimes putting a Drop of e-liquid on where the O-ring goes can help to keep it in place.

Others have replied what I would've said.... Usually, when you screw the top piece on, it holds the O-ring in place. Usually, you don't take it that far apart unless you're cleaning out the tank or replacing the coil (which you should clean out the tank anyways). The O-ring both above and below the glass part is loose. Sometimes they stick a bit, but nothing was added to keep it in place, sometimes they just "stick".

Well I'm glad BOTH your problems are "fixed." LOL. I've done stuff like that. Yes, there are many 0 rings in tanks that can shift around and even become deformed, your tank should've (probably) come with spare O-rings and sometimes more than one set. I do my best to keep my spare parts in the box they came in, it's much easier to find what I need that way. Etc.

Glad you found the "fix" and yes, anything other than eliquid (I tend to use plain 100% VG for that given it's viscosity, it tends to "glue" things better. I do have a few tanks where the O-rings want to habitually misbehave. However, putting ANYTHIGN you wouldn't vape into a tanks is not a good idea. Because eventually, your e-liquid is going to start dissolving that glue and you will be inhaling it. Good rule of thumb to not use anything (including lubricants) that you wouldn't be happy vaping, and glue probably isn't the best choice. I'm pretty certain it wouldn't work that well, either.

Glad you got it resolved. :)

Yeah thanks mistress of the dark. I am debating pure vg of at least just fruit flavours...when cleaning the tank after just a days use it was caked in crap.

Ps...do you ride around on a horse vaping...your ID kinda give me that vibe grabbing cigarettes from people's hands with a whip sorta thing.

Thanks all!

I have owned horses in my youth, and yeah, I have stolen my fair share of cigarettes (usually in view of the person though). Then I had a kid. Horses and a kid are unsustainable in my opinion.... I am now too old and poor to consider horses, although I still ride from time to time. LOL.

Sincerely,

Mistress of the Dark. :lol::lol:
