So many questions this morning after my 2 first REAL days of vaping with a REAL device. I refilled a pre-filled cartridge with about 5 more drops of juice last night because it was starting to taste funky and the directions said you will kill your atomizer quickly if you let it get too dry. Is this a bad Idea to do? How many times can I get away with doing this before I have to use a new cartridge? Is there any way to purge liquide from a pre-fill? I got a couple that I just know I won't like the taste and would rather clean them out and use my own yummy juice.

Thoughts?

Try a pack of cartomizers that fit your ecig. If it's a 510 thread, then order a pack of Boge cartos. Order low resistance if you have a 650mah battery or higher. Then, you can refill them easily using the method in the video below.

If you are using cartidges that came with your ecig, as keyzgirl said, you can drip liquid into the filler until it looks slushy, not puddled, and then reinstall and vape. If you drop in too much, you can use the bottle as a syringe to draw a little back out.

This video applies to cartomizers, not cartridges. A cartomizer is a one piece atomizer and cartridge that contains the heating coil and filler in one unit.

You never have to use a new cartridge unless the actual plastic gets damaged or stretched out. You can wash and dry the plastic part of the cartridge. You can try washing/drying/fluffing the stuffing but most restuff with blue foam or other material like Fluval.

You can buy blue foam precut for standard 510 cartridges here
https://strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67_49&products_id=222

You can cut those down for tinier cartridges like M40x or e-Health or others with ridiculously tiny juice cups. For larger cartridges or other shapes buy the bulk blue foam as Marineland Rite-Size U Bonded Foam Sleeve for H.O.T. Magnum Filter Canisters (at aquarium dept of Petsmart) and cut your own.

BUT (and this is a big BUT) - most people use models that there are cartomizers available for. They switch to cartomizers for their every day vaping and use a sealed manual battery w/ atomizer and drip tip for testing juices and vaping occasional juices.
