You can do either single or dual.

If you're doing single your going to want to get your hands on the normal protank coils to rebuild.

The aerotank stock coils are the same coils as the protank 3 and have much wider slots in order to accommodate the dual coil setup. Attempting to build a single coil in that setup will probably result in flooding.

Btw, cotton knocks the crap out of silica in protanks. And I wouldn't just "wrap some wire around and call it a day" either. Getty an ohm reader.

I've never done any rebuilding, I know my tank isn't ideal but its all I have. I ordered 2mm and 1mm silica and 32 gauge wire, I'm going to stick a needle through the silica, give it about 5 or 6 wraps with the wire, feed it thru and trim. I do have a few of the single coil atomizers so I'll try with those. My materials should come in the mail soon. do you know of any good, cheap rebuildable tanks?

You can't use a single (reg pt) coil on the aero or pt 3.. different height.

why do I need one? I cant just make it and if it vapes good just go with it?

NO, NO and NO!.. would really hate to see you go from deathbyzombie to deathbyExplodingBattery!

without an ohmmeter, you'll not know if you have a subohm or even a short.. only exception to the rule is if your device measures the ohms for you, but NO, just "wrap and go" can be dangerous..

Hmmm well I dont have an ohm meter. I guess I'll need to order one.

I beg to differ mate. I own one and it is what I always do. The only time I get any leaking is if I hold it upside down, even then it's just a few drops at most.

If your concerned about leaking then just use a flavor wick in the normal dual coil heads. Expect some muting of flavor though.

Actually this completely depends on your mod. Many mods have built in meters which far out perform the crappy little black boxes which I have personally seen have an error of up to 0.3 ohms. If you're using a mechanical however...get an ohm meter!

depends which coil you use.. the old pt3 has short stove pipe.

latter.. thats what i said didnt i with the exception about muting..
