It is possible to rebuild them. I would suggest you look for a video titled DIAMOND COIL from RIP TRIPPERS. I know he rebuilds the diamond coil on a tank system, but i can't say for sure if it's the aerotank that he does it on. You don't have to do the diamond, but he does point out things you should be aware of when rebuilding coils for tank systems. For future reference i would suggest you to RIP TRIPPERS for alot of info and advice as i learned alot through his videos also GRIMM GREEN isn't bad either. Let me know if this helps VAPE ON!

Is it possible to rebuild the Kanger aerotank?

If so, can you please point to a good (preferably video) resource?

Also, is it considered safe? I am not into sub-ohming or anything like that. A rebuild with the default resistance (2 ish ohms) is fine for me.

Thanks

Yes it is possible. I have rebuilt many before I switched to Kayfun tanks. I would suggest starting with standard micro coils with 30 or 32 gauge kenthal with a single coil till you get the hang of it. The build I was using the most with a 7 wrap 30 (1.8 ohm) gauge micro coil with organic cotton. I also recommend getting some silicone isolators and swapping out the rubber ones as you rebuild.

Absolutely! Its the first thing I did when I got one! There are quite a few tutorials on YouTube as some have mentioned. I personally found the magic with a 26 gauge micro @ around .08.
Biggest learning curve for me was determining the amount of cotton to use based on the viscosity of the juice to prevent gurgling/flooding.
