Re-Wicking BVC Coils?

Hi,
When rewicking bvc coils do I have to use japanese organic cotton? Or can I just use cvs organic cotton? Im kind of in an emergency and dont have any other coil heads atm so Im trying to work with whats best that I have. Thanks

use whatever cotton.

sometime people use cotton from cotton swabs; especially if its an emergency

Awesome thanks so much. Yeah I know the store brand organic cottons are more used for the rda builds and those types of setups where you insert the cotton through the coil and so I thought with the vertical coil it might be different because you have to actually wrap the cotton around it but good to know!

I imagine it could be done with either, but after many attempts to rebuild my aspire BDCs to BVCs using Cotton Bacon, I broke down and bought the Japanese cotton to get the most consistent thickness in the strip.

PS. if you put some eliquid on the cotton, you can more or less mold the piece you're using. That helps somewhat.
