It will eventually start to break down and thin out. When this happens you'll notice that it holds very little juice and runs dry much faster than it used to.

Those are the cues I look for.

Mine seem to actually quit wicking liquid out, and hold onto it after a while.

I'll take the cart off, look inside and it looks like its full but nothing is wicking out to the bridge, and I know the wick is contacting the bridge.

Remove it, wash the stuff out and clean the wool, refill it and it works again but not quite as good as originally.

Yes, some seem to do this as well.

For me, I rebuild the cart at the first sign of distress. I don't even bother trying to clean them anymore.

Hi Rob,
First..sorry that this is so long....
Needless to say I'm new at all of this stuff. I have read and watched so many different products and all I get is more and more confused. I joined this forum only 2 days ago but for 2 weeks I have seen quite a few youtube video's on a lot of people doing their demo's. I think... so far...
I like yours the best. But now I thought I'd ask you your opinion on the final 3 that I'm down to.

It's not the money,...in fact I would buy all 3, but I don't want to be turned off of ecigs buy getting the wrong one. It happened to someone I know and he said he'll never go back. I don't know him well enough to call him up and find out what brand it was. But I know someone that worked with him and when I said these 3 brand names he said no. Those names would have rang a bell.

I smoke about a pack and a half a day and I really was not even planning on quitting. Then I saw this stuff on the web and sort of got hooked only cuz I know smoking is bad. So the more I see and read, the more confused I get.
From a few of your video's , I pretty much feel the EVO M401 was your favorite. Then there are a few that go a little for the JOYE 510 and the YETI.

I'm just looking to go to work, with an ecig or 2 in my pocket, go have a smoke break 5-6 times a day, and go home! Why is it so freakin hard for me to decide on something that should be so freakin simple!! ???

If I had to call it, I would say that you would say......(drum roll)
EVO M 401.

Once again, sorry for making this so long.

Thanks,

Frank

Actually...

I hold a place in my heart for the 401 (Evo)...I really do...It can't touch the 510, though. My 510 manual is AMAZING...carts last a long time, vapor is SICK, throat hit is awesome and it has none of the "down sides" that the 401 has.

It's my new love.

I do nearly the same thing exept some little differences. I use to tear of several times a very small amount of fibers and lay them one on the other. This way I get a bunch that has a lot of fibers aligned in one direction. Then I cut one end evenly and stuff this side ahead in the cart using a pair of twizers. The overstanding fibers I cut off evenly to the upper end of the cart. The refilling I do by help of a seringe with a needle on it. I think the liquid wickes better like that, when as many as possible of the fibers are standing vertical in the cart. In vaporizers that have known problems with bringing enough of the liquid fast enough to the atty, like pipes for example, this can make it better.
