Good evening. I dropped my jeep off this morning because the brakes have been making noise but they said the brakes are fine. The front ones are only 4-5 months old. They checked the back too and said that they were fine. Not sure what to do about the noise. I guess live with it for now. It doesn’t do it all the time.
Good evening random folks. This weekend is Germanfest weekend, so I'm gonna be busy. I got my dirndls ready. (In case you're wondering, a dirndl is a traditional German dress.) I'm gonna feast on German sausage. However, it's a lot of work, too. What's worse, is it's supposed to rain more this weekend. It's already rained for the last 2 days.

I wrote my own spreadsheet for mixing recipes. It doesn't do a lot of fancy stuff but it converts % into mls and so forth. It annoyed me having to use a big complicated system that did so many things I didn't need with all the extra boxes to fill in. Plus it could disappear without notice.
Just heard Indiana has finally passed a budget with days to spare before the deadline. They got 2B in the hole so they have been cutting like crazy at the last moment to balance the books for the coming year. One of the fixes they put in was doubling the tax on cigs, Plus some extra tax on other nicotine products. The details of that haven't been released but it includes "vape cartridges". I'm guessing vape juice will be on the list too.
I heard a funny comment on the election of the next Pope. It's mostly about who is allowed to join the club. If they pick a conservative the liberals will be upset, if they pick a liberal the conservatives will be upset. So they figured out a sort of compromise, pick someone who won't be in place for too long. Making the Pope the only job in the world where a 70 year old candidate is considered a little too young.
