Just got my RAF today, and well......I don't know I think it needs to steep for awhile, doesn't taste too good

But the Hype is a pleasant surprise, I am not much of a fruity person (well that depends on who you ask) but I needed to try it, glad I did. Nice lite and refreshing taste, very nice change of pace.

raf showed up in the mail today. im loving it. gonna be sitting on the desk next to bobas and hype for sure. reminds me of dulcis from vaportalk, but with tons of vapor as all AVE juices

Got my Raf in the mail today. I like it. It didn't blow my mind like Boba's did, but it is definitely tasty! Someone mentioned a "cherry-ish" flavor on the exhale. I'm getting that as well. Good stuff!

@Doorknob, I was not too fond of the Raf (ok, I won't lie, I did not like it at all)...but didn't give up on it and I sampled it a bit each day. Tonight I tried it in both a Boge 2 and 3ohm carto, as well as several different types of hybrid atomizers and really enjoyed it. I think it was a combination between my tastebuds getting acquainted with the robust and unique flavor combination, and the juice sitting for a few days and mellowing out.

On first taste, I enjoyed the overall flavor profile except for a few notes of something that ruined my perception of the juice (I can't describe it without being offensive)...but they seemed to have gone away almost altogether.

Im not saying that your juice will magically turn into something consumable if you don't like it right off the bat, but like most juices (especially made-to-order) a little bit of time to steep can dramatically affect it. I know Porphy claims that AVE liquids don't REQUIRE steeping, but I've noticed that Boba's also is a little more friendly to my tastebuds after a week or two (this three month old bottle has immense flavor, while the bottle I got 3 days ago is a little bit less distinct to me).

TT, that is why I will wait a few days before passing real judgment. When I first tried Boba that was the same thing, it tasted like crap, but now is my all day vape. lol So far Blend 4 is the only AVE juice I tried that even after steeping for some time I still don't care for the taste that much. It is by no means a bad juice just not my type.

I'm all for steeping if that's what works for you. My stance has only ever been that I haven't ever steeped a liquid (it's hard for me to steep a liquid when I have gallons near by, hehe)

What I need is a vape meet where someone has steeped Boba's to give me a sample, or I could just tuck a bottle away... hmm what's the less lazy approach? *wink, nod*

if you have anyone that gets their own bottles refilled just have them leave a little in it when they send it your way. I dont see a HUGE difference but i do think second half of a 100ml bottle is a little more tasty than the first. Dont get me wrong it is perfect the second i get it, i just think the flavor is a little more present after a month or so.

If theres a vapemeet near central Texas, Ill bring some 5 month old (at the time of this post) Boba's Bounty that I managed to keep =P

I'm really enjoying the Raf-a-licious. 6 volts is my personal sweet spot on this juice. It's the version of RY4 I've been looking for. Not too sweet, nutty, with a hint of caramel and flu cured tobacco. To me, it's a more sophisticated RY4 than most vendors offer. Love the bite it has as well as the strong throat hit that's hard to find at 12mg and all VG based juice. I would say it's a drier juice on the pallet than bobas. Great job Raf. Will be back for more soon.

Raf at 18mg through a 2.0 ohm cisco 306 at 5v is maybe the best throat hit I've ever gotten from ANY juice. I like it. Thanks for that, Ben & Christy.

ive also noticed that the throat hit on raf is relentless. raf at 24 mg destroys bobas at 24 mg throat hit wise.

This is in the same boat as Boba's and Christy's Capp. We've run the initial samples out and now were on the "order soo much that it will crowd the shelves to meet demand" stage. So getting that in will take awhile, however, once it is in it will be in for good *crosses fingers*

A very sweet member sent me a bottle of Raf. I really like the toned down sweet with a hint of fruitiness in the tobacco. Can't wait till the shelves are full, I see a large bottle arriving in my mailbox in my future!
