OK so I was looking around on Tasty Vapors website and they sell e-liquid at 48mg strength. Since I have quit smoking I have been using the Camel Snus along with vaping 24mg strength menthol pretty much nonstop. So my question is this. Can I buy the 48mg strength and vape that without cutting it down with anything or is it to strong? I would really like to stop using the Snus and have been looking for a stronger nicotine e-liquid, but all that I have been able to find up till now is 24mg strength. Is there a reason for this? Is it safe to vape 48mg without diluting it with PG or VG? Another question that I have is that I want more vapor but don't know how much percent of VG to have them add. I dont want to add to much VG and then lose out on throat hit. What would you guys recomend for a VG-PG ratio that gives good vapor and good thoat hit?

bump to 36 first and try a 75%PG 25%VG OR 80/20 I prefer the 75/25. do this before you vape 48, thats very high for an all day vape, as well is 36, once you do the 36 for a bit, then you may start cutting back, some people have to start a bit higher than others to get there Nic fix satisfied, this is just my opinion ok

I would agree that 48mg is too high to vape. What I would certainly recommend IMHO is purchasing your flavor of choice from Tasty Vapor at 48mg and then purchasing the doubler, which has 0mg, and cut down the strength without losing any flavor. I get my eliquid at 20% VG and my doublers at 70PG/30VG. I get good TH with alot of vapor and no loss of flavor because of the doubler. Good Luck!

Taste is subjective as you know! But some of my favorites are Atomic Cinnacide-Tastes like the Atomic Fireball candy and is delicious, Spiced Rum-This is my favorite at the moment, Butter Rum - Reminds me of the Werther's Candy, Dulce De Leche - Smooth, Sweet and Creamy and Cafe Mocha - Wonderful strong coffee flavor with hint of chocolate and Almond Horn - Almond pastry with hint of cinnamon but the almond pastry is definitely the stronger flavor. This is really delicious too! Geez, it is so hard to choose!

Thanks for the advice. I just placed my order for a bottle of Atomic Cinnacide, Spiced Rum, and Cafe Mocha. All in 36mg strength. Hopefully that can help me get off the snus because I really don't prefer using it and going back to analogs is not an option for me and the 24mg strength just wasn't doing it for me.:)

You might consider getting their doublers, so you can control exactly how much nic is in your e-liquid. Isnt that hard to do, but be careful to not over do it. i really really dont suggest that you go much over 36.

But TV is great stuff, I havnt disliked anything I've gotten from there Yet...so far fav's are the AC, spiced rum, and German chocolate cake........oh the butter rum and Cafe Mocha. (ok I pretty much love them all)

You know on second thought....have you looked at the health section there is a thread there that discusses the symptoms of Nic Overdose VS Nic withdrawl there are some very similar symptoms..and the two can be confused.
Check it out to make sure your Not overdosing...rather then withdrawling
24mg is high enough for the majority of smokers...I know I smoked a pack and half prevaping and 24 is high enough for me.

Thats very interesting because I used to smoke anywhere from a half a pack to a full pack of Reds a day and since I quit smoking analogs I have been vaping 24mg strength like all day long and still feel like i need a cigarette.:evil:so maybe I am overdosing on nicotine. Plus I have been using the Camel Snus.

I was wrong it wasnt in the health section, in the library... here
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ing-your-symptoms-while-adjusting-vaping.html

Something else to keep in mind...Your are QUITTING smoking. Nic isnt the Only thing your addicted to in cig's.
But those other chemicals arnt why you like smoking and they are the main reasons why it's so bad. You dont need them, you dont want them, thats why your vaping.

I kinda had trouble with the Lack of a "rush" feeling at first, I missed it and thought I wasnt getting enough.....turns out the "rush" is from the faster delivery of the nic and the lack of oxygen reaching your brain b/c of carbon monoxide basically starving the brain when you smoke.

Keep at it, you can do this :)

Good grief, I smoked 40 + years and 24 mg makes me dizzy! 48 would kill me LOL
I had to cut mine down to 14 but I do vape a lot. At least I wont kill myself using it as a pacifier.

I would think, that just as many others have found, it is not the higher nic that you are craving. there are many other things in cigs that are addictive besides nic.
It took me about 2 weeks to stop craving the other things.

Yea I think a lot of it is that it seems to be slower delivery with the PV than with analogs. Plus there is just something else in the cigarettes that I am still craving even after two weeks. When I order my e-liquid I ordered 36mg so we will see what that does. I don't think that I'm overdosing tho.
