Hi, I am new to e-cig. My questions are between the 2 clearomizers. One is the MT3 1.8 ohms. The second clearomizer is the one came with the ego twist. I think this clearomizer is a CE4, after a bunch of searches on the internet. If it is not, let just call it a CE5 non-rebuildable.
What I found is that CE4 gives a lot more smoke than the MT3 1.8 ohms. After a lot of search, again, I think this CE4 is 2.5 ohms, beside the wick is long and is closer to the mouth piece.
My question is if the longer wick which gives me more smoke, or is it the higher resistance gives me more smoke?

First off the wick is the delivery system to the cartomizer. Whether it is long or short depends on placement of the coil head in the tank. Bottom mounted carts normally have short wicks and top mounted have long wicks.
Secondly have you tried changing the voltage on your twist when using the MT3? With a 1.8 ohm coil and your eGo twist try setting it at 3.7 or 3.2 volts. Having it set at 4.2 would be a little hot for that coil and diminish the vapor.
The CE4 with a 2.5 ohms set at 4.2 volts should vape well. But try the different settings and see what you like and go from there.
I hope my answer helps as I am not a professional but fellow new vaper.
Cheers

I have tried all from 3.2v to 4.8v on both, the twist and vision spinner. Same result. The CE4 always gives me more smoke, I mean a lot more. If long ot short wick don't matter than it has to be the resistance? Let say the MT3 is 1.8 ohms and the CE4 is 2.5 ohms.
Also, holding them side by side in hands, I can see that the width of the wicks are different too. The CE4 wick seem to be a little bit fatter.

Ok try this, at the base of the MT3 you should see small notches, cover them with your finger to slow down the air draw. Also draw slowly and long not short and hard. Ecigs are designed to not be inhaled directly hence pull with your mouth and then inhale or just blow out the vapor as the nic can be absorbed inside the mouth without inhalation.

I do both, suck in my mouth - inhale - then blow out, and suck directly in or inhale while sucking and swallow and press it in there before blowing it out. Also, on the MT3, it seem like I hve to take it slow. On the CE4, I can suck a lot quicker and still have more smoke. I have used the CE4 for around 2 weeks. I only have the MT3 for around a day or so. Does age matter?

Shouldn't matter as long as the juice had time to get through the wick to the coil. Could be a bad MT3 and it's not wicking correctly.
Maybe put the MT3 aside and just use the CE4 until you can check into it further. I have several tanks and I just swap them out. Have more on order now lol.
Good luck and sorry I couldn't help much. Maybe another member will chime in.
