2x28/36 KA1, 2.5mm ID, 6 wrap. Clocked in at 0.67ohm. At 30W it’s just enough heat - makes crackling sounds (maybe I didn’t wick it tight enough), but zero spit back.
Placed the coil low this time. Tried to get the bottom of the coil lined up with the bottom of the airflow slots.
Based on trying like 10 builds now, LOL, I’ve concluded that a 2.5mm Fused (28awg) or Triple Core (30 awg) claptons, 5-7 wrap, dropped very deep into the well may serve as a good (starting?) benchmark.

Cool idea. Not sure I'd want to use those, as I feel it would become easier for juice to seep out. But cool twist nonetheless.
IF I get more flavor from this cap... it's a win! Big "if." Will wait for the first adopters to post their feedback.
I'd be interested to know too. I don't see why it would affect flavor, the airflow's the same, though it has a more direct path so I dunno what effect it would have. Will be interesting when some first adopters post here.
Coming soon... Hadaly style caps for the Entheon! I emailed Psyclone mods and they informed me an Ultem variant is not currently planned, and the SS ‘hadeon’ cap only comes with new Entheon RDA purchases. The SS cap is currently not for sale individually...
Unusual response from Psyclone, especially since my package of shorties came with an Ultem option (Ultem, clear PMMA, and black and white Delrin).
That said, get them. Really great caps, drops a ton of weight, and the reduced height is very nice for flavour.
[EDIT] Didn't notice the airflow change there. This cap is all kinds of unusual - not clear why you'd want the Hadaly Af option unless the restriction of the Entheon is maybe too tight?

Will be curious to see the flavor of the Hadeon cap compared to the shorties.
I suspect they'll be mostly identical. The shorties only make a very small impact on things as compared to the stock cap, so from what I can see in the Hadeon caps, I'm betting just slightly wider or tighter airflow options at the extreme ends and little else... well, except maybe new leaking problems, but I've personally never lost a drop out of my Hadaly, so just going with the crowd on that point.
For those experienced Entheon users, do you know the dimensions of the o-rings?
I ask because I have two on the way (arriving tomorrow) and I because I expect to like them so much I'd like to be able to source spare o-rings if I don't already have them.

Just thought I'd put this here for posterity. It took me a bit of fiddling, but I am really enjoying my Entheon!
First off, I've only been squonking for about 6-7 months but have been vaping for almost 6 years. Started because my favorite mod maker (VapourArt/GP) make a squonk-compatible dripper and I jumped on a clearance sale (was previously using their RTAs for years).
Because I can't get them anymore, I don't want to risk losing the two atties I have while traveling so I've been searching for some value-priced alternatives with the following criteria: a 22m atty that fits a single coil, restricted lung vape with outstanding flavor with round wire build suitable for a single-battery unregulated mod. Also, I never build with wires that I can't make on my own - hence the round wire build.
I've tried a Pulse22 (didn't really care for it) and the Wasp Nano (which is excellent but not many cap/tip options). I avoided the Hadaly because of the over-squonking/leaking issues people were reporting. I jumped on the Entheon based on reputation, and this discussion, hoping that - while everyone seems to be using "exotic" wire builds - I could find something great for me. I prefer a restricted lung hit and would rather have the draw tighter than more open.
While I've been rather disappointed with the airflow, vape heat, and flavor for the past few days I literally just found a great build a few minutes ago. A single 26awg, 7-wrap 2.5mm spaced coil of Kanthal A-1 - coming out to .85 Ohm. I used the "coil correction tool" from a Berzerker MTL 22 to drop the coil so that half of the coils were visible through the air port.
I'm surprised at the complete change in vape from my other builds and am now VERY happy with this purchase. Perfect flavor with a restricted lung hit even at 3.7V.
Note: I did buy an authentic but I also have a YFTK clone one the way just for comparison.

Thanks for the suggestion! I didn't see that on FastTech but I'll keep it in mind should I be in the market for another
