I literally thought of you as I was typing it.
I was a Cubs fan as a youngin’. In those days the Cubs would contend every year till September then nosedive. In April, 1973 my dad brought home our first color tv. It had UHF on it. First UHF TV too. (Remember UHF?). That’s where the White Sox were on. From that moment on, I was a White Sox fan. Dumped the Cubs like a bad habit.I literally thought of you as I was typing it.

I remember too. Wasn't '73 when the Mets caught them from behind? Or do I have my years mixed up?
I remember UHF and VHF too! We had both in the NY market, barely (lotsa snow).
That was ‘69. Cubs had like a 9 game lead going into September and blew it. Haha!
Of COURSE! How could I forget?!?!?! Don't answer that.
'73 was Tug McGraw, and 1919 was long forgotten by then.

Way too much time has passed for a “recap”…but not a whole lot has changed anyhow.
@The Ocelot I actually came back here to ask you a question!
I remember one of your favorite atomizers had a swirl type logo on it…
I could be totally wrong…may not have been you, may not have been a swirl, etc etc…
But I saw a Boro tank atomizer today that had a somewhat similar logo, and it took me back!
I’ll attach a pic of what saw, and an example of what I’m remembering…
Maybe they’ll jog some memories?
