Problem with Joyetech Ego-CC

OK this is going to be a long one, sorry as its my first post.

I received my joyetech Ego-CC last week and it came with two atomizers and an Oriental flavour 10ml 18mg PG/VG liquid (unsure of ratio). It worked great after a charge and was loving it for the first few days. I then bought an Amber Leaf flavoured PG/VG liquid (again unsure of ratios) and vaped away!

I have changed the liquids back and forth a few times and found a slightly leftover flavour but nothing to worry about. However, since Sunday night I have noticed that I am getting a horrible burnt taste and the vape is inconsistent. I have bought some brand new atomizers that arrived today and it's not resolved. The problems started since I cleaned out the tank, although again this is inconsistent.

In a nutshell, the first few pulls I get are great and taste normal. However the vapour amount is low and so is the flavour! I've just put a brand new atomizer on it and let it stand and it's still doing it! I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

I have been using a blunt syringe to change the liquid and "sucking up" leftover liquid when changing flavours. I just don't know why it's not working as well as it did when I got it! No normal how I pulled on it, the flavour was great, the hit was just right and no harsh taste.

Any help would be great as I can't get replacement bits easily due to time constraints. Thanks in advance everyone!

I have also noticed a bit of liquid on the atomizer seal whenever I remove it, I'm using A Type atomizers which are the same as the ones that came with the kit. Thanks!

What king of tank/clearo/carto/glasso etc are you using? It will make it easier for someone on the forum to help.

Unfortunately, the problem is the Joyetech atomizers. There is no fix.

It's curious to me that in all the Totally Wicked stores I have visited, none of the owners or staff use this system.

Have a look into the RCS system, or better still, ditch Joyetech/Totally Wicked and get into Kanger clearomisers.

I would link to myepack.co.uk, but the website is down. I use the mini Protanks and when the atomizer head gets nasty, I replace it for £1.20.

To clarify, do you mean the atomizer only or the whole thing? I've just dropped £40 on it

Look up a video on priming your atomizers. I think your problem is that they are not "wicking" properly and you are burning the wick instead of the juice.

Neat little tank, I haven't seen them before, but I clicked that link and there is a pretty stern note to PRIME to atomizer heads.

I have tried this and let it sit for a while and it still isn't making any difference unfortunately. The atomizer head is the only part that is replaceable (or degradable if you like) on the whole setup but even so, this shouldn't make it taste bad for days should it?

I don't 100% know the new eGo-CC system, but I understand the principle. I was hoping it would use a new type of atomizer, but it uses the same type as for ages now. If by £40 you mean a complete unit, then no need to panic. The batteries are v.v. good. Just ditch the atomizers and tank section....sell them/give them away.

I know people who replace them every 2 days or so. It's very uneconomical. What can happen also is that once you get a burned taste, you've actually burned the atomizer, never to recover. There are all sorts of fixes and ideas on the internet about it. The liquid you use, the speed you vape, the power of your battery (if you have a mod battery or VV/VW)...all these things have a bearing.

Right, so I've just had my new Protank delivered and have found.....the exact same problem. The Prtabk I've heard needs time to "settle in" but this poses another question:

If you buy cheap'n'nasty e-liquid, will that ruin better e-liquids even if you change the atomizer? I only ask because these problems seem to have started since I bought the cheap e-liquid.
