Hi guys,
I upgraded today to a pegasus mini, fitted with a IMR 3.7v 18650 battery, and have been looking forward to using it.
Problem is, I was told to charge it before using, which I assumed, but it has now been on charge for near 3 hours, and while the display works, it shows a full battery icon but when the fire button is pressed it reads low battery, and when the charger is disconnected (using the basic in box charger, connected to a pc) it doesn't turn on at all. It also seems, when charging, not to read the atomiser, as the ohm display appears as 9.99.
Is there something wrong here, perhaps a faulty battery, or should I wait longer for it charge up?

Have you read the instructions and made sure to flip the battery leaver over properly? Also consider a bad pic USB port and if you have a wall charger (0.5A) for sub try that. With tour atomized on, Turn the mod off, then back on and see if it reads resistance then. Could be defective but try a few things first.

I am a little worried. Normally, an 18650 battery would come mostly charged. You could use most of them to test a new mod straight out of the box. Did you choose the battery or did they 'bundle' it for you? What is is?

Also, things like "connected to PC" doesn't sound ideal to me. What usb version do you have (usb 2.0, 3.0?) what else is connected. How's your PSU?

My money is on the battery being bad in some way - if it says fully charged but isn't holding enough charge to power the mod, something is wrong.

Hard to say... if you know the atomizer is good and it's properly connected, that would also be strange to get 9.99 which usually (i.i.r.c.) means no atomizer connected, maybe?

Seems too many issues for a quick solution.

I have this mod. Just started having usb charging issues a few days ago. In my case, it's the usb port on the mod. I've used several different usb cables (Including the Aspire cable) and it doesn't work. If I move the cable a little bit down, it starts to charge. I soon as I vape, the charge stops. I smelt the usb port and it has that electrical burnt smell. I'm just going to manually charge both batts until I can go back to a Kanger product. Completely disappointed in this mod.
