It would be easy to say that it was the e cigarette (but can't be ruled out completely yet). I have been vaping for 2 weeks and I now have post nasal drip and a sore upper throat.

I think this is also a symptom of quitting smoking also right?

Anyone else have this problem before? Did it go away on it's own or did you have to quit vaping or other?....
Help please.
Thank you.

I started having this problem with regular cigarettes, it's the major reason why I switched to vaping. If it persists I will go to a Dr. for now I am just curious as to others experiences.

I have been dealing with PND for about a year and a half maybe 2 years now. Constant flow of mucus in my nose and throat. It used to be really bad, and I used to get these things called tonsilloliths, a build up of some kind of crap (dairy products and smoking hookah made these appear almost immediately) in the crypts of my tonsils. They are kind of fun to blow out with a waterpik, I'll give them that, very fulfilling.

My PND has really gotten a lot better since september, so it may just be diminishing slowly. I use a neti pot almost daily and that seems to help long term.

I believe it is the vaping. I began vaping after having quit smoking for a year. I knew that I'd be returning to smoking shortly, so instead, I got a 306 and never looked back. The PND, in my opinion, is a result of the vapor acting as a humectant and an irritant. I don't think there is a solution to this as long as you're continuing to inhale things other than air. Some practices that may help would include staying hydrated (try to increase your intake of water significantly), consider cutting down how frequently you vape, consider drawing into your mouth more than lungs, try using a neti pot (keeping in mind this doesn't reduce PND but makes the mucus locomotion more efficient by thinning mucus membranes and clearing congestion). You could also switch between pg and vg to find the one that dries the least (both are commercially used humectants).

Best of luck.

Mike
